New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Aug. 20.
Huddle Up: The Giants planned to hold out of the joint practices, so he should return to practice next week. He has been making good progress and seems to be on track for the start of the regular season. He should be a weekly starting option in all leagues if he is healthy.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) took part in full-speed team drills on both Monday, Aug. 17, and Tuesday, Aug. 18, in a red, non-contact practice jersey. He could transition to full contact as early as next week, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan, who writes that the "expectation" is for Nabers to play in Week 1, barring a setback.
Huddle Up: In 19 career games, Nabers has 127 receptions, 1,475 yards, and nine touchdowns. While it's possible that it will take some time for him to get back to full speed coming back from a torn ACL, not to mention developing chemistry with Jaxson Dart, Nabers can be targeted as midrange WR2 that could push into the top 10.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) could start participating in team drills as soon as next week, according to head coach John Harbaugh.
Huddle Up: Nabers has been making solid progress in his recovery and seems to have a good chance to be ready for Week 1. He is one of the better receivers in the NFL when he is healthy and should be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers did not practice on Friday, July 31. The team had planned it as a day off as they work him back from his season-ending knee injury he suffered last season.
Huddle Up: Nabers is still expected to be the team's WR1 in Week 1 and beyond if he is healthy. Having a scheduled day off isn't out of the ordinary, so fantasy players need not worry until a report changes that.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) said he does not have a timetable for his return and that he will play when he is ready. He has been participating in individual drills during training camp.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation during training camp to see if Nabers will be ready for Week 1. He is a weekly starting option in all leagues when healthy, but fantasy players may not have him available early in the season.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) will not start training camp on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list.
Huddle Up: Nabers will likely be eased into practice but seems to have a chance to be ready for the start of the regular season. Fantasy players should keep an eye on the situation because Nabers is a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues when healthy.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers has "a realistic possibility" to play in Week 1, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan.
Huddle Up: Nabers is bouncing back from a torn ACL, and his rehab journey has been long, but this seems to be the first big ray of hope. A healthy Nabers in the lineup has the potential to be a WR1, but fantasy players should temper expectations and embrace a floor as a WR2.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) will be working his way into practice as soon as training camp opens, according to head coach John Harbaugh.
Huddle Up: Nabers is behind RB Cam Skattebo, according to Harbaugh, but he's in a good place. Nabers will be a WR3 with upside if he's able to avoid the PUP to start the season.

New York Giants WR Malachi Fields could see a big role in the offense sooner rather than later. The receivers' room is a bit thin, and there is no certainty WR Malik Nabers (knee) will be able to return to start the regular season.
Huddle Up: With Nabers not a lock for the regular season start, and Darius Slayton, Gunner Olszewski and Beaux Collins nicked up initially, the rookie Fields might be doing a lot of on-the-job training, rather than studying, watching and developing. He is expected to get an opportunity to be a go-to option in the red zone, too, as the Giants need help in that area after finishing 27th in red-zone scoring percentage in 2025. Fields is an intriguing late-round option in redraft fantasy leagues, and a must-have in long-term keeper formats.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) participated in LB Brian Burns' celebrity softball game on Saturday night, and he took part in all scheduled activities, from dodgeball to the home run derby to the game itself. He was seen backpedaling in the dodgeball game, and he was showing off a full range of motion. However, he still didn't show if he can start, stop or cut as his position requires, so it was just a glimpse of where he is at. Head coach John Harbaugh recently said the receiver is still working through rehab, and he is uncertain if Nabers will be ready for the start of training camp.
Huddle Up: Nabers is hopeful to be ready for the start of the regular season, but playing dodgeball and softball, or going through the rigors of an NFL game, while running his route tree are two completely different things. Still, it's a good sign that he is moving around well. Fantasy managers still have two or three months to see him get better. We'll know a lot more in July and August about where he should be safely drafted for fantasy purposes.
