Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix completed six of his nine passes for 76 yards and a touchdown during the preseason game against the Green Bay Packers Friday, Aug. 21.
Huddle Up: Nix has delivered two solid seasons to start his NFL career, and after the Broncos added to the receiving corps this offseason, he could be headed for his best year to date. Throw in his sneaky rushing ability, and Nix has a good shot to finish as a low-end QB1.

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix is expected to play around 14 snaps during the preseason game Friday, Aug. 21, according to head coach Sean Payton.
Huddle Up: Nix will likely play only one or two series because the team wants to make sure he will be ready for the start of the regular season. He was one of the breakout players last season and has a good receiving corps to work with again in 2026. He can be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix (ankle) will play Friday against Green Bay, according to a Tuesday, Aug. 18 report from the Denver Gazette.
Huddle Up: This is good news for Denver fans and Nix fantasy owners. It will be his first game since suffering a broken ankle against the Buffalo Bills in a playoff game Jan. 17. Nix had two surgeries on the ankle, one Jan. 20 and another in late April. His numbers last season were slightly down from his '24 rookie campaign, but because of his running ability he remains a low-end QB1 in most formats.

He took a big step forward with his play last season and has the chance to become of the better quarterbacks in the NFL if he continues to develop. He can be a low-end No. 1 or high-end No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues.

Huddle Up: Nix will likely only see a few snaps if the team decides to play him in the game. He is coming off a terrific 2025 season and has a new receiver to work with in Jaylen Waddle. He can be considered a low-end No. 1 or high-end No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues.

Huddle Up: Nix seems to be healthy and on track to play in Week 1, so fantasy players should be confident in selecting him during drafts. He has become one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL and can be a low-end No. 1 or high-end No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues.

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix (ankle) could be 100% cleared when camp opens, which is consistent with Nix's messaging over the last month about his injury, in the opinion of The Denver Post's Troy Renck on Monday, July 20.
Huddle Up: Nix has been the QB7 in his first two seasons in the NFL, and with his rushing ability and the Broncos adding pieces on offense like Jaylen Waddle and the returning J.K. Dobbins, Denver should be one of the top contenders in the AFC. Nix is the engine behind making the offense go, and with 29 and 25 touchdowns in his first two seasons, Nix is a locked-in QB1 fantasy option who you may be able to get a discount on in fantasy drafts this summer and fall.
