Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Dec. 10, after re-tearing his ACL.

Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) suffered a torn ACL, head coach Dave Canales said Monday, Dec. 9. It is the same ACL that Brooks tore during his final collegiate season.
Huddle Up: This was the worst-case scenario for Brooks, who appeared in three games after making his way back from his first torn ACL. The promising running back will now face a long recovery process that could put his 2025 season in doubt, considering how careful the Panthers will be. For now, Chuba Hubbard remains a strong RB1.

Updating a previous report, Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) ran once for minus-3 yards in Week 14 against the Philadelphia Eagles and he was not targeted in the pass game. He left with a non-contact injury, and head coach Dave Canales said Sunday, Dec. 8 that Brooks had pain in his knee, and the player will have a full battery of tests to determine the extent of the injury.

Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) is active for Week 12's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Huddle Up: Brooks has a great deal of potential but should be kept on the bench in most fantasy leagues this afternoon because of the difficult matchup versus the Kansas City defense. In addition, Chuba Hubbard will continue to see the bulk of the carries for the Panthers, making it difficult to determine how Brooks will be used in the Carolina offense.

Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) is expected to make his NFL debut for Week 12's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to head coach Dave Canales. He will not be on a pitch count.
Huddle Up: Although Brooks has high upside, he should be kept on the bench in most fantasy leagues this week because of the tough matchup against the Kansas City defense and also due to the likelihood that Chuba Hubbard will continue to see most of the carries.

Carolina Panthers RB Miles Sanders (ankle) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 12 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. LB Amare Barno (knee) was upgraded to a limited practice on Friday, Nov. 22, but is listed as doubtful. PK Eddy Pineiro (knee) and WR Jalen Coker (quad) did not practice on Friday but are listed as questionable. WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable. LB Jadeveon Clowney (knee), DE LaBryan Ray (hand), LB D.J. X. Johnson (concussion), RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) and LB D.J. Wonnum (quad) practiced in full on Friday but are also listed as questionable. CB Jaycee Horn (calf) was limited in practice all week but has been removed from the injury report. OG Damien Lewis (illness), DL A'Shawn Robinson (rest), OT Ikem Ekwonu (ankle), S Xavier Woods (shoulder) and OT Taylor Moton (rest) practiced in full on Friday and also no longer appear on the injury report.

Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) practiced in full all week and will "absolutely" play in Week 12 despite being listed as questionable against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to head coach Dave Canales.
Huddle Up: For those fantasy managers who thought Carolina might call him questionable on the final injury report and not play him, this is proof that will not happen. Expect Brooks to take a secondary role to Chuba Hubbard for at least the next week or two - if not longer. It is unlikely to matter much anyway, as the Chiefs have been one of the worst matchups for running backs most of the year.

Carolina Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) was a full participant at practice Thursday, Nov. 21.
Huddle Up: Brooks is expected to make his NFL debut on Sunday, but he should be kept on the bench considering the tough matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs and the fact that Chuba Hubbard is still leader in the backfield.
