Washington Commanders WR Luke McCaffrey could earn the No. 2 receiver job if he performs well during training camp and the preseason, in the opinion of CommandersWire's Bryan Manning.
Huddle Up: McCaffrey was a productive part of the passing game before his injury last season but has a chance to earn a big role this season. He should see a handful of targets each game even if he does not start and can be a late round pick in deeper leagues.

Washington Commanders WRs Luke McCaffrey, Jaylin Lane and Treylon Burks are expected to be candidates for the No. 2 wide receiver job during training camp, but the team may use a committee at the position this upcoming season, in the opinion of Commanders.com's Zach Selby.
Huddle Up: The Commanders have only one reliable receiver on the roster with Terry McLaurin, but McCaffrey, Lane and Burks all have a chance to earn a consistent role in the passing game. McLaurin is the only one that should be a fantasy starter at this point, but players can keep an eye out to see if any of the others are worth a spot on their fantasy teams.

Washington Commanders WR Luke McCaffrey (collarbone) suffered broken collarbone in Week 9 and is headed to Injured Reserve.
Huddle Up: Jaylin Lane had three catches for 29 yards in Week 9, and he'll become a potential target for Marcus Mariota. He's not worth the pickup yet, but he should remain on watch lists.

Washington Commanders WR Luke McCaffrey posted a single 50-yard reception on two targets in Week 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Huddle Up: McCaffrey saw his modest two-game touchdown streak come to an end. He seemed to jell nicely with backup QB Marcus Mariota. It will be interesting to see if he can build the same kind of rapport with QB Jayden Daniels, now that he is back after a two-game absence. In three games with Daniels, McCaffrey has just two catches for 79 yards on three targets, while he had five receptions for 77 yards and two scores on six targets in two games with Mariota.
