Seattle Seahawks RB George Holani might be leaned upon more in the early part of the season following the departure of RB Kenneth Walker III (Chiefs) and RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) recovering from an ACL injury. The team signed RB Emanuel Wilson, and it might pursue help in the draft, but Holani received praise from general manager John Schneider earlier this month. "I'm not saying (Holani's) going to be their starting running back," ESPN's Field Yates said. "But I'll be the first to admit, in my role, sometimes you overlook some of the internal options that might play a bigger role than you realize."
Huddle Up: Holani did a good job down the stretch when thrust into a larger role with Charbonnet going down in the playoffs. He is a player to watch in training camp and the preseason, as he could very well challenge for starter reps until Charbonnet is ready to go. Holani knows the system, while Wilson is learning it, so that gives him a leg up.

Seattle Seahawks exclusive rights free-agent RB George Holani signed his one-year tender offer Monday, March 16. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Holani has a chance to earn a bigger role next season because of the loss of Kenneth Walker III, so fantasy players should monitor his situation during offseason workouts and training camp. He can be a No. 3 or No. 4 running back in leagues depending on his role.

Seattle Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III is expected to serve as the team's workhorse running back in the NFC Championship Game versus the Los Angeles Rams, with RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) sidelined. RBs Cam Akers and George Holani will serve as backups, according to a source, with several packages designed for each player.
Huddle Up: Walker had three touchdowns and 116 rushing yards in last week's Divisional Round playoff game versus the San Francisco 49ers and should be treated as a must-start option in all fantasy formats, especially given his success facing the Rams' defense this season. Both Holani and Akers can be viewed as flex options in playoff fantasy leagues.

Seattle Seahawks RB George Holani (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 23, and is not on the injury report for the NFC Championship game.
Huddle Up: Holani was added to the 53-man roster and should have a role in the offense against the Los Angeles Rams. He will likely see a handful of touches behind Kenneth Walker III and can be a flex option in many fantasy leagues.

Seattle Seahawks TE Elijah Arroyo (knee) and RB George Holani (hamstring) were activated off injured reserve on Friday, Jan. 23.
Huddle Up: Neither Arroyo nor Holani will factor into the gameplan but they do provide depth to the Seahawks as they battle injuries. Holani will serve as Kenneth Walker's backup due to Zach Charbonnet's injury.
