Houston Texans DL Denico Autry (lower body) left the Week 11 game against the Dallas Cowboys briefly due to an apparent lower-body injury. He walked off the field under his own power to the blue medical tent, and eventually checked back into the game. He ended up with four total stops, three solo tackles, a sack, a tackle for loss, a pass defensed and a quarterback hit.

Also, LB Jake Hansen (ankle) and DL Folorunso Fatukasi (groin, shoulder) did not practice but are questionable, WR Nico Collins (hamstring) and WR Tank Dell (back) were limited and are questionable, DE Jerry Hughes (hip) and CB Jeff Okudah (quadriceps) practiced in full but are questionable, DE Denico Autry (rest) did not practice but carries no designation and DE Derek Barnett (calf, shoulder), DE Dylan Horton (illness), LB Azeez Al-Shaair (knee), OG Shaq Mason (hip), S Jimmie Ward (groin) and OL Jarrett Patterson (concussion) practiced in full and carry no designation.

Houston Texans DE Denico Autry was activated for the Week 7 game on Saturday, Oct. 19. Also, DB Desmond King and FB Troy Hairston were elevated from the practice squad for Sunday's contest.

Houston Texans DE Denico Autry was reinstated from a six-game suspension on Monday, Oct. 14. The Texans were granted a one-game roster exemption for Autry.

Houston Texans LB Tarique Barnes, OG Dieter Eiselen, WR Johnny Johnson III, RB J.J. Taylor and OT Kilian Zierer were waived Tuesday, Aug. 27. The team also released OT Cameron Erving, OT Charlie Heck, LB Jacob Phillips and CB D'Angelo Ross. RB Jawhar Jordan (undisclosed) and DT Pheldarius Payne (hamstring) were waived/injured, placed DE Denico Autry on the Reserve/Suspended list, placed DE Dylan Horton (illness) on the Reserve/Non-Football Illness list, and placed Christian Harris (calf), DT Kurt Hinish (undisclosed) and S Brandon Hill (knee) on the Reserve/Injured list. Harris and Hinish have been designated to return later in the season.

Houston Texans DE Denico Autry has been suspended for the first six games of the season due to violating the performance-enhancing drug policy, the league announced Monday, July 29.

Updating previous report, free-agent LB Azeez Al-Shaair (Titans), DE Denico Autry (Titans), CB Mike Ford (Browns) and LB Danielle Hunter (Vikings) officially signed with the Houston Texans Friday, March 15. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed, but earlier reports stated Al-Shaair signed a three-year, $34 million contract, Autry signed a two-year, $20 million deal, Ford signed a two-year, $4.5 million deal and Hunter signed a two-year contract worth $49 million.
