Miami Dolphins QB Quinn Ewers has a big fan in offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik. According to sources, if the team can't sign a quarterback in the offseason, the plan would shift to Ewers as the starter and signing a backup.
Huddle Up: Ewers had 622 passing yards, three TDs and three INTs on 83 attempts last season, completing 66.3% of them. He's young, as he turns 23 in March, but there could be pockets of fantasy viability. That said, he's not more than a QB2 option in fantasy drafts.

Miami Dolphins QB Quinn Ewers (knee) completed 16-of-23 passes for 137 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 18 against the New England Patriots, while running for a yard. He suffered a knee injury late, and said Sunday, Jan. 4 that he would need further evaluation of his knee injury when the team returns home.
Huddle Up: Ewers got a long look down the stretch for Miami, as they evaluate him and try to determine if he is the future, or a veteran free agent or draft pick is needed at the position. Ewers did OK, but the jury is still out. We'll see if the Miami brass saw things differently.

Miami Dolphins QB Quinn Ewers completed 14 of his 22 pass attempts for 172 yards and two touchdowns in a 20-17 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 17.
Huddle Up: Ewers was much more efficient in his second start, and while it is far too soon to believe that he can he become a franchise quarterback for Miami, Ewers at least took a step on the right direction. He will try to build on the momentum in the season finale.

Miami Dolphins QB Quinn Ewers went 20-for-30 for 260 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 16. He also rushed for five yards on two carries during the game.
Huddle Up: The Dolphins decided to have Ewers to start this week, but fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see if Ewers will start again next week. He will be facing a decent Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense if he starts next week and can be avoided in fantasy leagues.

Miami Dolphins QB Quinn Ewers was named the starting quarterback for Week 16 as QB Tua Tagovailoa has been benched.
Huddle Up: Ewers will face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 16, which is a good matchup. That's still not enough to consider starting him outside of dire situations in two-QB or superflex leagues in his first start.

Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa could be benched in favor of either QB Zach Wilson or QB Quinn Ewers later this season if he continues to turn the ball over at an alarming rate, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He currently leads the league with 11 interceptions thrown this season.
Huddle Up: Through nine games this season, Tagovailoa has thrown 15 touchdown passes for 1,779 yards. However, given his shaky grasp on the starting job in Miami, he should only be a starting option in deeper two-quarterback fantasy leagues.

Miami Dolphins QB Quinn Ewers completed just 5-of-18 passes for 91 yards, no touchdowns and interceptions in the preseason opener against the Chicago Bears Sunday, Aug. 10, and he was sacked twice with two fumbles lost. Ewers also missed an uncovered receiver on a play, checking down instead, and it ended up getting resulting in a head injury for RB Alexander Mattison. Ewers is well behind QBs Tua Tagovailoa and Zach Wilson on the depth chart at this point.

Miami Dolphins seventh-round draft choice QB Quinn Ewers agreed to terms on a four-year contract with the Dolphins Thursday, May 8. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Texas QB Quinn Ewers was selected by the Miami Dolphins with the 231st overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: Ewers likely will enter training camp as the No. 3 quarterback behind Tua Tagovailoa and Zach Wilson but has a chance to climb up the chart over the next few seasons. He should be avoided in all fantasy leagues this upcoming season.

Louisiana State University OT Will Campbell, University of Texas QB Quinn Ewers, University of Michigan DT Mason Graham and Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty were part of a large group taking "30" visits with the Las Vegas Raiders on Wednesday, April 9.
