New York Jets third-round pick WR Malachi Corley signed a four-year, $6.073 million deal Wednesday, July 17. The deal includes a $1.237 million signing bonus.
Huddle Up: Corley is someone that could become a late-round flyer with a good camp. Keep him on the watch list.

New York Jets WR Xavier Gipson is projected to begin the season as the primary option in the slot over third-round rookie Malachi Corley, according to SNY's Connor Hughes.
Huddle Up: Hughes believes Corley will be a part-time slot option to begin the year while also adding value as a gadget player and returner. If that ends up being the case, fantasy managers may want to consider Gipson in the final rounds of their drafts considering how much success Aaron Rodgers' slot receivers have enjoyed over the years.

New York Jets WRs Malachi Corley and Xavier Gipson are expected to compete for the slot role in New York's offense, a position the team brought veteran WR Randall Cobb in to play in 2023. Corley, a second-round pick in this year's draft, appears to have the upper hand, but the coaching staff is high on Gipson, who got to work with QB Aaron Rodgers in camp last year.
Huddle Up: The Jets brought in Mike Williams from the Chargers to give Rodgers another option beyond Garrett Wilson, but Williams has had issues with consistency and durability. Allen Lazard remains as well, and it's possible the return of Rodgers will breathe life into Lazard, but he struggled mightily in 2023. Given the uncertainty outside of Wilson, whoever emerges as the slot receiver between Corley and Gipson could hold late-round upside.

New York Jets WR Malachi Corley was the favorite wide receiver of QB Aaron Rodgers in the 2024 NFL draft, according to sources Friday, May 26.
Huddle Up: Corley is far from a complete wide receiver, but he has an incredible skill set after the catch. It's best to approach Corley's value with a bit of caution, but there's upside as a WR3/4 if he carves out a solid role.

New York Jets general manager Joe Douglas attempted to trade into the second round to select WR Malachi Corley, eventually landing him at the start of the third round. "He is an elite with the ball in his hands," head coach Robert Saleh said. "He's an angry runner. We love his style of play. He's going to bring an added element that we don't have."
Huddle Up: The front office clearly believes that Corley can help the offense, but the more important question will be if Aaron Rodgers believes in the rookie. Corley would have intriguing upside if he clicks with Rodgers early, and he is worth a late-round pick.

Western Kentucky WR Malachi Corley was selected by the New York Jets with the 65th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: Corley has a chance to become the No. 3 receiver for the Jets fairly early and could see if decent role if Mike Williams is not ready for the start of the regular season. He can be considered a No. 4 fantasy receiver in deeper leagues and could be a flex option against favorable matchups.
