Las Vegas Raiders TE Darren Waller (ankle) continues to miss training camp practices with an ankle injury, but ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler has been told that the issue isn't a concern. Instead, since it's early in the preseason, the team will take it slow with Waller, but it was a regular-season week he could practice and play.
Huddle Up: This should alleviate most of the current angst over Waller's absence. He remains one of the few tight ends who enters the season as his team's top target and should go in the first three rounds of your draft.

Las Vegas Raiders TE Darren Waller should improve on his career-high 1,196 receiving yards he posted in 2020, according to beat reporter VicTafur of The Athletic.
Huddle Up: Only Travis Kelce (1,416) had more receiving yards among tight ends than Waller, who led the position with 107 catches. Even if Waller falls a little shy of his 2020 numbers, he still could easily finish as top-three fantasy tight end.

Las Vegas Raiders TE Darren Waller leads all tight ends with 27 contested catches and 1,188 yards after the catch since the start of 2019 season, according to Pro Football Focus.
Huddle Up: Perhaps George Kittle would have led the position group in both categories had he been able to stay healthy this season, but it doesn't diminish how impressive it is that a former wide receiver in a college option offense has ascended to such great heights. Waller and Kittle figure to battle for the right to be the second tight end off the board after Travis Kelce in fantasy drafts this summer.

Las Vegas Raiders TE Darren Waller led all tight ends with 43 receptions and 55 targets over the final five weeks, and his 654 receiving yards in that span were 216 more than any other player at the position.
Huddle Up: Travis Kelce remained the No. 1 tight end in fantasy, but Waller was the clear No. 2 option last season. George Kittle, Kelce and Waller will be in a class by themselves entering 2021.
