Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) is considered day-to-day because of his knee injury, according to head coach Doug Pederson.
Huddle Up: Jones was not available for the Week 3 game, so fantasy players will need to monitor his practice participation this week to see if he will be able to play in Week 4. He has posted decent numbers so far this season and can be at least a flex option in leagues.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Calvin Ridley (knee) is dealing with a knee injury but should be fine for the Week 4 game, according to head coach Doug Pederson.
Huddle Up: Ridley played well in the season opener but has been held to 40 yards or less in each of the last two games. He will continue to see a solid amount of targets each game and can still be a starting option in all leagues.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 22, and has been ruled out for Week 3.
Huddle Up: Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk will be the main receivers for the Jaguars with Jones sidelined and both should be starting options in fantasy leagues.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) did not practice once again on Thursday, Sept. 21.
Huddle Up: With back-to-back missed practices, Jones looks set to sit out in Week 3. Jones will be a boom-or-bust flex option, at best, all season long with so many mouths to feed in Jacksonville.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 20.
Huddle Up: Jones suffered the injury during the last game, so his status for Week 3 is uncertain at this point. He has been a solid part of the passing game over the last two seasons and can be at least a flex option if he is active for the game.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) is getting further testing and is considered day-to-day, per sources Monday, Sept. 18.
Huddle Up: Jones left briefly in Week 2 with a knee injury and failed to haul in any of his six targets. If he's healthy, he's a volatile WR3/flex option against the Houston Texans in Week 3.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Calvin Ridley registered just two catches for 32 yards on eight targets in Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Huddle Up: Ridley exploded for eight grabs, 101 yards and a touchdown in his team debut, clearly looking like the top dog in Duval. This week, it was Christian Kirk going over 100 yards with a score, while Ridley was barely a blip on the radar. Fantasy managers are going to hate this situation if the two top receivers go boom or bust every other week. We'll keep an eye on the situation heading into Week 3 against the Houston Texans. Cautiously use Ridley as a WR2 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Christian Kirk posted game highs with 11 receptions, 110 yards and 14 targets in Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Huddle Up: Kirk outperformed Calvin Ridley by miles in his one, while Ridley was easily to top receiving option in the opener. This will be a situation which will get fantasy managers to pull out their hair. The Jaguars host the Houston Texans in Week 3, and we'll see who ends up as the top receiving option then. Kirk remains a decent WR3 or flex fantasy option for fantasy managers in most formats.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) suffered a knee injury during the Week 2 game and is considered questionable to return.
Huddle Up: Jones was coming off a good Week 1 performance but could miss time depending on the severity of his injury. Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk will be the main receivers if Jones misses any time and both can be starting options in all leagues.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Christian Kirk managed only one catch - on three targets - for nine yards in Week 1 versus the Indianapolis Colts, but head coach Doug Pederson expects him to bounce back in a big way in Week 2 due in part to how often the Kansas City Chiefs utilize man coverage. "Christian thrives against man defense. He'll get his chances," Pederson told 1010XL's Mia O'Brien.
Huddle Up: Colts defensive coordinator Gus Bradley is a Cover 3 proponent and Kirk's biggest strength might be his speed, so it makes sense why he didn't do much in Week 1. Regardless, Calvin Ridley's arrival makes it unlikely that Kirk will return WR3 value nearly as often as he did last year. If we assume moving forward that Kirk will fare well mostly against man coverage and Zay Jones will do his best work against zone, Jones will be the better fantasy option most weeks (NFL defenses played some coverage about 70 percent of the time last season).

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence and the rest of the starters are expected to play most of the first half in the preseason game against the Miami Dolphins Saturday, Aug. 26.
Huddle Up: Lawrence is a low-end QB1 that could take the next step into the midrange this season.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Tank Bigsby rushed nine times for 52 yards in a 28-23 preseason win over the Dallas Cowboys Saturday, Aug. 12.
Huddle Up: Bigsby has been touted as an ideal complement to starter Travis Etienne, and he looked the part in the preseason opener. Etienne is going to be the lead back, but Bigsby is a RB4 with upside.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Tank Bigsby has impressed the team with his understanding of defenses, his pass catching and improvement thus far in camp, according to head coach Doug Pederson.
Huddle Up: Bigsby is an RB4 or RB5 that could deliver better results. Travis Etienne is their guy, but he needs some help. Bigbsy looks like he's in line for the excess touches.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Calvin Ridley (toe) will be limited at practice for the foreseeable future due to a toe injury.
Huddle Up: Ridley will have quite a bit of rust to kick off after he was limited to five games in 2021 and missing all of last season. He's still worthy of a WR3 selection.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram agreed to terms on a new three-year contract with the Jaguars Sunday, July 16, worth $41.25 million. The deal includes $24 million in guaranteed money.
Huddle Up: Engram will be staying with the Jaguars after playing well in 2022. He should continue to see plenty of targets each game and can be a No. 1 tight end in fantasy leagues.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram's prospects for signing a long-term deal with the team are "up in the air" as the July 17 deadline approaches for franchised-tagged players to sign a long-term deal, according to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports.
Huddle Up: It would be a shame if no deal is reached because Engram finally put it together in his first season with Jacksonville while also proving he could stay healthy for 17 games. With receivers such as Calvin Ridley, Christian Kirk and Zay Jones taking defensive attention away from him, Engram could see a huge spike in touchdowns after scoring four in 2022. Regardless of whether he signs a multi-year deal over the next few days, Engram should be a fine TE1 for fantasy managers again this fall.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Tank Bigsby "will have plenty of opportunity to quickly become the team's primary backup back to Travis Etienne and could out-touch him in some games depending on who has the hot hand," according to Demetrius Harvey of the Florida Times Union.
Huddle Up: This is just the latest hint that Etienne is unlikely to handle the same kind of volume he did last year (246 touches, including one four-week stretch in which he amassed 79 touches near the end of the season). It also suggests that Bigsby has a reasonable shot at splitting backfield work with Etienne on occasion. Fantasy managers are advised to wait a few rounds to draft Bigsby as opposed to spending a third- or fourth-round pick on Etienne.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram is absent from organized team activities Tuesday, May 30.
Huddle Up: Engram is looking to get a long-term extension after his best fantasy year since his rookie season in 2017. He was fifth in PPR points at the position, but he is a massive injury risk. He could be a decent value as a low-end TE1.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Travis Etienne said he is excited to have other quality running backs to share the load with in 2023. "I don't have to go and bang myself up each and every play," Etienne said. "I've got somebody else to take a couple licks off of me and I love that."
Huddle Up: Etienne should remain the clear No. 1 option in the Jacksonville backfield, and a slightly reduced workload could lead to increase in efficiency and big plays. He should be considered a low-end RB1 candidate entering the year.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Calvin Ridley "simply moves differently than any other wide receiver on the field," according to SI.com's John Shipley.
Huddle Up: Simply also notes Ridley displays "the pacing and tempo in his routes, the quickness of his feet and his ability to change up his approach to routes even when he isn't getting the ball all stand out." It bodes well for Ridley that he already appears to be separating himself from Christian Kirk, although that was expected to happen at some point anyway. Jacksonville's balanced offensive approach - at least when it comes to the passing game - may keep Ridley from reaching his ceiling, but it should come as no surprise if he finishes as a top 20 fantasy receiver in 2023.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Tank Bigsby had a good rookie minicamp and has the "inside track to the No. 2 running back job," according to John Shipley of SI.com.
Huddle Up: Bigsby could provide a power element to the Jacksonville ground attack, but it remains to be seen if he will be used simply to spell Travis Etienne or as a true complementary back. Regardless, Bigsby offers enough upside to justify a late-round pick.

Penn State WR Parker Washington was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the 185th overall selection in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: Washington probably will have to earn a roster spot during training camp and may not receive many targets during his rookie season. He can be avoided in standard league but could have value in the future.

Auburn RB Tank Bigsby was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the 88th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: Bigsby showed the skills to be an every-down back in college, but the Jaguars will likely use him to add a little more thump to a backfield that already features Travis Etienne.

Penn State TE Brenton Strange was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the 61st overall selection in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: The Jaguars have Evan Engram as their starter, but Strange could be a starter down the road. He could be selected in some keeper leagues but is not an option in standard leagues.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram has yet to report for offseason workouts, but the expectation is that a long-term contract will get done before the start of training camp, according to general manager Trent Baalke. "We're trending in that direction, but we're not there yet. Hopefully, we can get that done," Baalke said Thursday, April 20.
Huddle Up: Both sides have expressed confidence in getting a long-term deal done, so this figures to be a non-issue by the time July rolls around. At worst, Engram should be considered a solid low-end TE1 option for fantasy managers this season.

Jacksonville Jaguars franchise free-agent TE Evan Engram did not report for the start of offseason workouts Monday, April 17, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Huddle Up: Engram is looking for a long-term contract, so he may sit out some of the voluntary workouts. He is coming off a terrific 2022 season and should be a weekly starting option next season.

Free-agent RB D'Ernest Johnson (Browns) agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Wednesday, March 22, per source. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Johnson will slot in as the No. 2 running back behind Travis Etienne, who accounted for nearly half of the team's carries in 2023. Until we see enough work to warrant starting consideration, Johnson is only a handcuff.

Updating a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram officially received the franchise tag Monday, March 6. The franchise tag for tight ends in 2023 is worth $11.345 million.
Huddle Up: Engram will face more competition for targets in 2023 with Calvin Ridley joining the fray, but he made a strong case that he was Trevor Lawrence's favorite target by the end of the season. He may not repeat his 73-766-4 line from 2022, but with Ridley and Christian Kirk drawing coverage away from him, he is a great candidate to see a spike in touchdowns. He should have no problem being a solid fantasy TE1 again.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Calvin Ridley was reinstated by the NFL on Monday, March 6, after he was suspended by the league for the entirety of the 2022 season for betting on games.
Huddle Up: The Jaguars took a calculated risk when they acquired Ridley for two draft choices at the trade deadline last season and see their gamble pay off with this news. Although Ridley is set to turn 29 at the end of next season, he is a proven No. 1 receiver in this league who joins a Trevor Lawrence-led offense that already has proven playmakers such as Christian Kirk and Evan Engram. While Ridley may not push for 90 catches in this offense (his career-high total in 2020), he should be a solid WR2 in fantasy at worst.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram will receive the franchise tag, according to a source Thursday, March 2. The franchise tag for tight ends is worth $11.345 million.
Huddle Up: Engram was a high-ceiling option with the Jags in 2022, and this seems like the best spot for him to return borderline TE1 numbers again in 2023.
