Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) told reporters on Tuesday, April 16, that he did not feel fully healthy until March. Lawrence battled several injuries during the 2023 season.
Huddle Up: While many fantasy managers were disappointed with Lawrence's production last season, injuries undoubtedly played a role. He took a career-high 35 sacks despite missing the first game of his pro career, so he didn't get as much help as he probably needed from his offensive line. Lawrence adds a bit as a rusher, but his relative lack of rushing upside keeps him squarely in the fantasy QB2 discussion.

Jacksonville Jaguars EDGE Joshua Allen agreed to a five-year, $150 million contract Wednesday, April 10.
Huddle Up: In leagues he qualified at DE, Allen was the fifth-best DL in IDP leagues last season with 17.5 sacks. He'll need some increased tackle or PD numbers to ascend higher, but he was rock solid in '23.

Jacksonville Jaguars LB Foyesade Oluokun agreed to a four-year, $45 million contract Friday, March 29, that includes $22.5 million fully guaranteed. He had no guarantees in the final year of his deal before this three-year extension.
Huddle Up: Oluokun was the No. 1 LB in IDP leagues last season, depending on scoring system, with 174 tackles, 2.5 sacks and six PDs. He'll be an elite option again in 2024.

Impending free-agent WR Devin Duvernay (Ravens) agreed to terms on a two-year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars Monday, March 11, worth $8.5 million. The deal can be worth as much as $12.5 million.

Impending free agent WR Gabe Davis (Bills) agreed to terms on a three-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to sources Monday, March 11. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.
Huddle Up: A change of scenery might be nice for Davis, and he'll have some solid quarterback play to work with. However, it's best he shouldn't be viewed as more than a boom/bust WR3 considering his history of volatility.

The Jacksonville Jaguars acquired QB Mac Jones from the New England Patriots Sunday, March 10, in exchange for a late-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, according to multiple sources.
Huddle Up: Jones is headed back to his hometown to compete with C.J. Beathard for the Jaguars' backup quarterback job behind Trevor Lawrence. The deal cannot be finalized until Jones, a former first-round selection of the Patriots, passes a physical and the new league year gets underway Wednesday, March 13. It is believed that both sides were discussing a sixth-round pick as compensation.

New England Patriots QB Mac Jones appears to be available to interested parties, as multiple teams have reportedly called and done their homework on him, according to sources via NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.
Huddle Up: This should not come as a shock to anyone, as new head coach Jerod Mayo and new offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt have very little invested in the former first-round pick. Jones proved during his rookie season that he is a capable NFL starter, so a change of scenery may be exactly what is needed after a pair of disappointing seasons with sub-par receiving talent around him. With that said, he is unlikely to fetch more than a Day 3 pick in return.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Travis Etienne probably will see not see as many touches in 2024 than he did this past season because the team wants to make sure he is healthy for the entire season, according to head coach Doug Pederson.
Huddle Up: Etienne ranked third in the NFL in touches in 2023 but should still see plenty of work next season even if he does not match his total. He should be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues in 2024.

New England Patriots QB Mac Jones is still a possible starting option in 2024 at this time, according to offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt.
Huddle Up: The Patriots likely will make changes at quarterback this offseason, but Jones is still a candidate for the quarterback job for now. He can be avoided in all fantasy leagues if he is able to find a starting job.

New England Patriots QB Mac Jones is a candidate to be traded in the coming weeks and is likely to be playing elsewhere next season, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Huddle Up: Jones, who was New England's first-round selection in the 2021 NFL draft, was benched multiple times last season due to inconsistent play and even wound up as the No. 3 quarterback option on the team's depth chart. His trade value is at an all-time low and his best chance of being fantasy-relevant in 2024 is by landing with a club that has no clear-cut starting quarterback option and then beating out several other candidates in training camp.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence will need to work on decreasing his turnovers during the offseason after committing a league-high 21 turnovers during the 2023 season, according to head coach Doug Pederson.
Huddle Up: Lawrence has thrown 39 interceptions in in his three-year career but has also thrown at least 20 touchdowns in each of the last two seasons. He is still one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL and can be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in most fantasy leagues next season.

New England Patriots QB Mac Jones is not expected to have his fifth-year option exercised this offseason, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Jones was benched several times this past season and probably will have to fight for the starting job during training camp next season. He can be avoided in fantasy leagues even if he wins the starting job.

Buffalo Bills WR Gabe Davis (knee) was ruled out for the Divisional Round playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday, Jan. 19.
Huddle Up: Davis was a long shot to play this week after failing to log any type of participation at practice. Slot receiver Khalil Shakir and rookie TE Dalton Kincaid should be next in line for targets behind Stefon Diggs.

Buffalo Bills WR Gabe Davis (knee) did not take part in practice on Wednesday, Jan. 17. The injury report was an estimation, as the Bills only held a walkthrough.
Huddle Up: This is a bad start to the week for Davis, who wasn't able to suit up last week. If he plays, Davis is a boom-or-bust flex option, per usual.

Buffalo Bills WR Gabe Davis (knee) was ruled inactive for the Wild Card Weekend game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team announced Monday, Jan. 15.
Huddle Up: Davis was ruled out earlier in the week so this doesn't come as a major shock. Despite tough weather, expect to see Stefon Diggs and Dalton Kincaid heavily involved.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram led all tight ends and finished fourth in the NFL with 114 receptions in 2023.
Huddle Up: Engram shattered his previous career highs in both receptions and receiving yards, and he has enjoyed the two best seasons of his career during his two seasons in Jacksonville. Engram should be a TE1 again in 2024.

Buffalo Bills WR Gabe Davis (knee) was ruled out Friday, Jan. 12, ahead of the wild-card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Huddle Up: With Davis out, rookie TE Dalton Kincaid should see a more stable target share while slot WR Khalil Shakir also could see an increased role.

Buffalo Bills WR Gabe Davis (knee) did not practice for a second straight day on Thursday, Jan. 11.
Huddle Up: Davis entered the week as a long shot to be ready in time to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend. It seems highly unlikely now. Davis has become an even more volatile fantasy option than in years past, serving the team more in a blocking role than as a receiver under interim offensive coordinator Joe Brady. Expect Khalil Shakir to step up a bit more in his absence and Dalton Kincaid to be at least as involved as he was last week.

Buffalo Bills WR Gabe Davis (knee) did not take part in practice on Wednesday, Jan. 10.
Huddle Up: Davis is dealing with a PCL sprain, leaving his status very questionable for the upcoming playoff game. If he plays, he's a boom-or-bust option.

Buffalo Bills WR Gabe Davis (knee) suffered a PCL sprain that is not considered a major injury, but his status remains to be determined, according to sources Monday, Jan. 8.
Huddle Up: Davis has been arguably the most volatile player for fantasy purposes, but he always seems to come through during the playoffs. Monitor the practice reports this week, but he may be a solid DFS option if he's active.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (hamstring, knee) is officially active for the Week 18 game.
Huddle Up: Jones should see a few targets in the passing game but can be avoided in most leagues since fantasy players should have better options available.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Christian Kirk (groin) has been declared inactive for the Week 18 game.
Huddle Up: Kirk was recently activated from the Reserve/Injured list and likely will be available if the Jaguars make the playoffs. Calvin Ridley and Evan Engram probably should be the only Jaguars pass catchers that should be starting in fantasy leagues.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (finger, shoulder) is officially active for the Week 18 game.
Huddle Up: Lawrence was limited during practice leading up to the game but should not have any limitations during the game. He can be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Christian Kirk (groin) was activated off injured reserve on Saturday, Jan. 6.
Huddle Up: Despite his activation, Kirk remains a game-time decision for Week 18. If he plays, Kirk is coming off a month-long absence and it's very possible he'll be limited, especially with Jacksonville unlikely to need much out of him to defeat the lowly Titans. He's best kept on the bench.
