New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough completed 19-of-27 passes for 282 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers, and he ran four times for minus-3 yards for his first NFL victory.
Huddle Up: Shough certainly looked good at times against a team which has been playing good defense. Shough showed a nice rapport with Chris Olave, as that pair hooked up five times for 104 yards and a touchdown. Despite the solid statistics, Shough is still nothing more than a low-end QB2 in most fantasy leagues, but this was certainly promising.

New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough completed 15-of-24 passes for 176 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams, and he ran once for two yards in his first NFL start.
Huddle Up: There are going to be growing pains with Shough, but apparently this is a long-term QB change. He could eventually be a fantasy option worth consideration, but for now, he is best used as a low-end QB2 at most.

New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough will start in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams, and head coach Kellen Moore said Wednesday, Oct. 29 that the plan is for Shough to be the starter for the rest of the year.
Huddle Up: It's a tough first matchup for the 2025 second-round draft pick, as the Rams allow just 6.4 yards per pass attempt, which is tied for the fourth-best mark in the NFL among pass defenses. The Rams have allowed just one pass play of 40 or more yards, too. Shough is a low-end QB2 fantasy starter at best, with some viability in long-term dynasty formats.

New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough will start in place of QB Spencer Rattler in Week 9, according to head coach Kellen Moore.
Huddle Up: Shough is a rookie and still very raw. This offense also leaves a lot to be desired, so he's merely a pickup in two-QB leagues.

New Orleans Saints QB Spencer Rattler and QB Tyler Shough both saw playing time during the Week 8 game, and head coach Kellen Moore said the team is not ready to name the starting quarterback for Week 9.
Huddle Up: Rattler was benched in favor of Shough in the last game, so Shough seems to be the leading candidate for the job this week. Fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation over the next few days, but neither quarterback should be a starting option in fantasy leagues.

New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough replaced QB Spencer Rattler during a 23-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 8, completing 17 of his 30 passes for 128 yards and an interception. He also added 12 rushing yards.
Huddle Up: It remains to be seen if the Saints will let Shough have a chance to start moving forward, but even if he does replace Rattler permanently, he would only be a stash candidate until he shows what he is or isn't capable of doing.

New Orleans Saints QB Spencer Rattler completed 15-of-21 passes for 136 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Week 8 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while running three times for 12 yards. He was also credited with a lost fumble. Rattler was benched for rookie QB Tyler Shough.
Huddle Up: Rattler made two costly mistakes, and despite a pretty efficient completion percentage, he is now donning a ball cap on the sideline. It's uncertain if this is a move just to spark the offense on Sunday, or something which is more long term. Whomever starts for New Orleans is, at best, a low-end QB2 in most fantasy leagues.

New Orleans Saints QBs Spencer Rattler and Tyler Shough continue to battle for the starting quarterback position Monday, Aug. 25.
Huddle Up: Rattler is presumed to be in the lead, but neither would have value outside of leagues that start two QBs. Shough could have some deeper, dynasty appeal.

New Orleans Saints head coach Kellen Moore plans to decide whether QB Spencer Rattler or QB Tyler Shough will be the team's starting quarterback during the upcoming week.
Huddle Up: Rattler has reportedly performed better than Shough during training camp and may have a slight edge in this competition due to having prior NFL experience. Regardless of which player wins the job, they should be viewed as a low-end QB2 option in fantasy leagues.
