New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough improved his play this season, and the team is confident with Shough as their starting quarterback in 2026, according to head coach Kellen Moore. Moore said the team is excited that Shough will have an offseason to continue to improve.
Huddle Up: Shough threw at least two touchdowns in only three games this season but did post at least 270 passing yards in three of his last four games. He should be able to build a connection with his pass catchers during the offseason workouts and can be a No. 2 fantasy quarterback next season.

New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough went 23-for-35 for 259 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 18. He also rushed for 34 yards and one touchdown on three carries during the game.
Huddle Up: Shough took over the starting job during the season and should be the leading candidate for the starting job next season after playing well during the last month of the season. He will likely start the 2026 season as a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues.

New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough has three straight games with at least 250 passing and zero interceptions, tying him for the longest streak by a rookie quarterback in NFL history.
Huddle Up: Granted, Shough's streak has come against weaker competition, but his performance has been solid nonetheless. The rookie will try to cap his season with another strong outing to make the case that he deserves a chance to be the starting quarterback in New Orleans entering 2026.

New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough (hip) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 2, and is not on the injury report for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Shough will be without his top two receivers this week but will still have a decent group of pass catchers to work with on offense. He can be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues but can be avoided in standard leagues.

New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough (hip) fully participated in practice Thursday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: Shough has been playing well recently but will be without his top receiver in Week 18. He should still be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues and can be a possible low-end No. 1 quarterback in some deeper leagues.

New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough (hip) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 31.
Huddle Up: Shough has been playing well recently with back-to-back 300-yard games and three passing touchdowns during that span. He can be considered a low-end No. 1 quarterback in a good amount of leagues this week.

New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough completed 22-of-27 passes for a career-high 333 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans, while running four times for six yards.
Huddle Up: Shough has been sharp since supplanting Spencer Rattler, winning four straight games, while posting back-to-back 300-yard performances. He has multi-TD passing efforts in three of his past seven games, and had had two rushing scores in a game in early December against Tampa Bay. He has a bright future in the Big Easy, and could be someone fantasy managers draft as a QB2 for depth in 2026.
