San Francisco 49ers QB C.J. Beathard completed 25-of-37 passes for 273 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks while rushing for 10 yards. RB Jeff Wilson Jr. rushed 20 times for 76 yards and a score, while adding three receptions for 12 yards and a touchdown. WR Kendrick Bourne had a team-high 76 yards on five grabs, while TE George Kittle was good for seven catches and 68 yards on nine targets. WR Richie James also checked in with 66 yards on three grabs, while TE Ross Dwelley was good for 21 yards on two catches and WR River Cracraft ended with two catches and 17 yards. LB Fred Warner led the way on defense with a game-high 10 total stops, a sack, a tackle for loss and two quarterback hits.

San Francisco 49ers QB C.J. Beathard went 13-for-22 for 182 yards and three touchdowns against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 16. He also rushed for 18 yards on three carries during the game.
Huddle Up: Beathard did not post a big yardage total this week but was able to find the end zone three times. He will receive another start next week against the Seattle Seahawks but should only be a possible starting option in two-quarterback leagues.

San Francisco 49ers QB C.J. Beathard will make a start in Week 16 against the Arizona Cardinals with QB Nick Mullens (elbow) out and QB Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) still sidelined. 'I've got nothing to lose at this point,' Beathard said Wednesday, Dec. 23. 'I'm going to go out and have some fun. This team has nothing to lose at this point. We're not going to make the playoffs. We've really go nothing to lose. We've got to go out there and leave it all on the field and just have some fun.'
Huddle Up: Beathard's last start came Oct. 28, 2018, ironically against the Arizona Cardinals, and he was beaten that day by Josh Rosen, who is now his teammate after signing with the 49ers on Wednesday.

San Francisco 49ers QB Nick Mullens (elbow) completed 21-of-36 passes for 219 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 15 against the Dallas Cowboys before leaving due to an elbow injury. C.J. Beathard completed 5-of-7 for 100 yards and a touchdown in place of Mullens.
Huddle Up: If Mullens is unable to return, and Jimmy Garoppolo is still not ready, it would be Beathard getting the starting nod against the Arizona Cardinals. For fantasy purposes it's probably best to steer clear of the 49ers pass game in Week 16 in Arizona.

San Francisco QB C.J. Beathard has been named the backup quarterback ahead of the Week 5 matchup with the Miami Dolphins, replacing QB Nick Mullens.

San Francisco 49ers QB C.J. Beathard (thumb) was able to practice Wednesday, Aug. 14. He banged his thumb on a helmet in the team's first preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys.

San Francisco 49ers QB Nick Mullens will start against the Oakland Raiders Thursday, Nov. 1, according to a source. QB C.J. Beathard (wrist) will be active and back up Mullens.
Huddle Up: Mullens has a good matchup, but he's not a recommended fantasy starter in his first career start and in a primetime game.

San Francisco 49ers QB C.J. Beathard (wrist) will be a game-time decision Thursday, Nov. 1, to see if he can play in Week 9 with a wrist injury. If not, Nick Mullens will start against the Oakland Raiders.
Huddle Up: If you're leaning toward Beathard as bye-week fill-in or two-quarterback league starter, you will need to check the inactives list released an hour and a half before kickoff.

Updating previous reports, San Francisco 49ers QB C.J. Beathard (wrist) is 50-50 to play in the game Thursday, Nov. 1, with a wrist injury that has caused him issues gripping the football. QB Nick Mullens would start if Beathard can't go.
Huddle Up: Neither options are playable in fantasy at this juncture.
