Philadelphia Eagles RB Josh Adams was waived Saturday, Aug. 31.
Huddle Up: Adams will have some interest, and he could land in a spot to be worth a waiver-wire pickup.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Josh Adams won't be asked to change his running style, according to assistant head coach and running backs coach Duce Staley. 'Hell no. Nah, Josh is who he is. I like him, too. Once again, competitive runner, another good running back that's in our room. You go back and you watch some of the film last year, Josh was out there, he really picked it up,' Staley said. 'He was able to step right in and be starter.'
Huddle Up: Adams was the beneficiary of a bevy of injuries, but now he has an uphill climb with returnees Corey Clement, Donnel Pumphrey and Wendell Smallwood back, while newcomers Jordan Howard, Miles Sanders and Boston Scott joining the room. He might have fantasy appeal again at some point if injuries strike again, but Adams should be avoided on draft day in most leagues.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Josh Adams could very well be on the outside looking in when final cuts are announced given his overall lack of versatility, in the opinion of NBC Sports Philadelphia's Reuben Frank.
Huddle Up: Frank makes a solid case for how Adams can make the team, as he flashed big-play ability prior to hurting his shoulder seriously enough to need surgery to repair a torn labrum. He cites the Eagles' running back depth as the main reason why the second-year runner may be out of a job, as Philadelphia added Miles Sanders and Jordan Howard to a group that already included Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood. Either way, Adams figures to struggle for fantasy relevancy if he remains in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Josh Adams had one carry for two yards in a 16-15 win over the Chicago Bears in the wild-card round Sunday, Jan. 6.
Huddle Up: Adams logged double-digit carries in each of the final three regular season games, but he was a non-factor against Chicago as the Eagles turned to Darren Sproles and Wendell Smallwood. Adams will be hard to trust in playoff contests going forward after this performance.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Josh Adams rushed 11 times for 50 yards in Week 17 against the Washington Redskins and he added three catches for 33 yards.
Huddle Up: Adams, Wendell Smallwood and Darren Sproles will be part of a three-headed running back committee heading into the wild-card playoff game against the Chicago Bears.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Josh Adams rushed 11 times for just 21 yards and he had no catches on one target in Week 16 against the Houston Texans.
Huddle Up: With Adams stuck in neutral it was the trusty veteran Darren Sproles picking up the slack. Adams cannot be trusted in fantasy leagues playing in Week 17. The Eagles travel to meet the Redskins in the regular-season finale.

Updating a previous report, Philadelphia Eagles RB Josh Adams (back) was able to return against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15 after exiting with a back injury. He finished with 15 carries for 28 yards and a touchdown.
Huddle Up: Keep an eye on Adams's status throughout the week, but if his back is holds up, he is locked in as Philadelphia's top back.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Josh Adams (back) left the Week 15 game against the Los Angeles Rams and he is questionable to return.
Huddle Up: With Adams sidelined it appears the team will have heavily rely upon veteran Darren Sproles as well as Wendell Smallwood down the stretch.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Josh Adams ran seven times for a team-high 36 yards in Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys.
Huddle Up: The Eagles managed just 2.4 yards per carry against the Dallas D, but Adams more than doubled that with 5.1 yards per tote. He will face another tough matchup in Week 15 against the Los Angeles Rams. Treat him as a low-end RB3 or flex option.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Josh Adams (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 7, and is not on the injury report for Week 14.
Huddle Up: Adams has rushed for at least 84 yards in each of the last two games and has two touchdowns in his last three games. He will be facing a solid Dallas Cowboys defense this week but can be considered a low-end No. 2 running back or flex option.
