Washington Commanders OT Lucas Niang (knee) suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in the preseason opener against the New England Patriots, and head coach Dan Quinn confirmed Niang is out for the season.

Miller, OT Lucas Niang, QB Chris Oladokun, WR Cornell Powell, RB Louis Rees-Zammit, WR Nikko Remigio, WR Justyn Ross, CB Keith Taylor and WR Montrell Washington were waived on Tuesday, Aug. 27. The Chiefs also waived S Tyree Gillespie (undisclosed) with an injury designation and released S Deon Bush, LB Cole Christiansen and DT Matt Dickerson.

Kansas City Chiefs OT Jawaan Taylor (undisclosed) was carted off at practice Wednesday, Aug. 14, with an undisclosed injury. OT Lucas Niang stepped in at tackle.

Kansas City Chiefs TE Jody Fortson (elbow) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 22, and has been ruled out for Week 16. DT Khalen Saunders (illness) did not practice and is listed as doubtful. DE Mike Danna (illness) and S Deon Bush (illness) fully participated in practice but are listed as questionable. DT Chris Jones (illness), TE Noah Gray (shoulder), S Nazeeh Johnson (hamstring), OT Lucas Niang (knee), DT Derrick Nnadi (Achilles) and CB L'Jarius Sneed (calf) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.
