New Orleans Saints RB Tony Jones Jr. rushed 16 times for 27 yards in a 31-6 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 12.
Huddle Up: Injuries thrust Jones into the starting role, but he was unable to capitalize on the opportunity. Even if Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram remain sidelined, Jones looks look a reach as a fantasy starter.

New Orleans Saints RB Tony Jones Jr. (ankle) is expected to be sidelined for three to four weeks with the ankle injury he suffered in Week 4 against the New York Giants, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Jones is theoretically one of the better handcuff options available in fantasy, but the Saints' slow-paced offense so far in 2021 isn't allowing him to enjoy the same kind of workload that Latavius Murray enjoyed in a similar role over the previous two seasons. Managers of Alvin Kamara may want to roll the dice on picking up Dwayne Washington and possibly Ty Montgomery off waivers if they want to protect their investment.

New Orleans Saints RB Tony Jones Jr. ran twice for 12 yards in Week 3, at the New England Patriots, on Sunday, Sept. 26. He added 10 yards after catching both targets.
Huddle Up: Any excitement from the late fantasy draft season surrounding Jones' promotion to RB2 has faded. The Saints hardly have utilized him in 2021, and until he sees consistent action, he's merely a stash as Alvin Kamara's handcuff.
