Free-agent WR Danny Amendola (Dolphins) agreed to a one-year deal worth as much as $5.75 million with the Detroit Lions Monday, March 11.
Huddle Up: Amendola lands in a spot where he might pose WR5 value, but he's a wildly inconsistent fantasy asset.

Free-agent WR Danny Amendola (Dolphins) is believed to be interested in signing with the New England Patriots this offseason, according to The Athletic's Jeff Howe.
Huddle Up: Amendola played with the Patriots for several seasons before he decided to sign with the Miami Dolphins, so he is familiar with the Patriots. He would be a No. 3 or No. 4 fantasy receiver next season if he joins New England.

Miami Dolphins WR Danny Amendola was released Friday, March 8, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Amendola is coming off a decent 2018 season with 575 yards and one touchdown in 15 games. He should receive interest from teams looking for a slot receiver and could be a late-round option in point-per-reception leagues.

Miami Dolphins WR Danny Amendola may be released in Miami due to his $6 million salary, and a return to the New England Patriots would be a likely destination if that happens.
Huddle Up: Amendola did lead the team in targets (79), receptions (59) and receiving yards (575) this past season after coming over from the Patriots, but the Dolphins appear ready to tear things down and rebuild, so Amendola indeed might be looking for work.

Miami Dolphins WR Danny Amendola finished with four grabs for 26 yards on five targets in Week 17 against the Buffalo Bills.
Huddle Up: Amendola finished his first season in Miami with 59 grabs, 575 yards and just one touchdown. The 33-year-old will head into the 2019 season as a decent WR4 in PPR fantasy formats, with much lesser value in standard play.

Miami Dolphins WR Danny Amendola (knee) practiced in full for the second straight day Friday, Dec. 28 and he is off the injury report ahead of the Week 17 game with the Buffalo Bills.
Huddle Up: Amendola appears to be fine for the finale, and he'll likely see plenty of targets on short to intermediate routes in Buffalo where the temperature will be around the freezing mark with breezy conditions.

Miami Dolphins WR Danny Amendola (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 26.
Huddle Up: Amendola was getting the typical mid-week veteran's rest to preserve him for game day. If he is able to play he is a decent low-end WR4 or flex fantasy option in the regular season finale in Buffalo.

Miami Dolphins WR Danny Amendola (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 21, and is not on the injury report for Week 16.
Huddle Up: Amendola was targeted eight times last week but only finished with 30 yards in that game. He should receive some targets this week but can be benched in most leagues because of the matchup.

Miami Dolphins WR Danny Amendola (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 20.

Miami Dolphins WR Danny Amendola (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 19.
Huddle Up: Amendola was in the shape last week and he was able to play, seeing eight total targets. He remains a decent WR4 or flex fantasy option in most PPR leagues with lesser value in standard play.
