Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams rushed 13 times for a game-high 64 yards in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars and he added a 10-yard catch on his only target.
Huddle Up: Last week it was Melvin Gordon leading the way with the rookie struggling, now Williams had 4.9 yards per attempt while Gordon managed just 2.4 yards per tote. Fantasy managers are going to be battling this timeshare all season until someone gets a hot hand for an extended period, or a player suffers an injury. The Broncos host the New York Jets in a favorable matchup in Week 3.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams rushed 14 times for 45 yards in Week 1 against the New York Giants and he had one catch for minus-4 yards on his only target.
Huddle Up: Williams averaged just 3.2 yards per attempt, while Melvin Gordon had a 70-yard touchdown and 101 rushing yards. Williams remains worthy of a fantasy spot, but Gordon isn't going to go away quietly, and might have strengthened his grip on the top job. The Broncos travel to meet the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2, so we'll watch the ongoing battle in that one.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams was compared to New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara by QB Teddy Bridgewater, Kamara's former teammate.
Huddle Up: Williams is probably the most explosive running back at Denver's disposal, but he is going to be sharing the load with Melvin Gordon. Even in a committee, Williams should be a flex option, but his ceiling will jump significantly if the Broncos deploy him in a variety of ways.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams will lead the team in attempts and rushing yards at the end of the season, in the opinion of beat writer Ryan O'Halloran.
Huddle Up: Melvin Gordon will likely start the season as the lead back in name, but O'Halloran believes Williams will see more week by week. It might be a good idea to start grabbing Williams as an RB3, and he's a must-own for Gordon owners.
