Dallas Cowboys RB Javonte Williams (knee) said he could be more flexible, but he is completely healed from a 2022 surgery to repair a torn ACL, PCL and MCL in his knee.
Huddle Up: Flexibility is one of the difficult things to regain after a surgery, and it's pretty vital as a running back. He'll be in a timeshare with Miles Sanders and Jaydon Blue, but he is expected to be the leader of the pack. He'll be an RB2 option that could have a bounce-back season.

Dallas Cowboys RB Javonte Williams said he feels like himself for the first time since suffering a serious knee injury in 2022. He has received a majority of the work with the first-team offense during offseason workouts.
Huddle Up: Williams may be the starting running back for the Cowboys but will likely be part of a committee at the position. He can be a possible No. 3 fantasy running back or flex option in deeper leagues if he sees most of the touches.

The Dallas Cowboys are not expected to make any further moves at running back this offseason, after signing RBs Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders in free agency and drafting RBs Jaydon Blue and Phil Mafah.

Dallas Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones told 105.3 The Fan on Friday, April 25, that he doesn't "feel the need to reach" when asked about selecting a running back in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Cowboys currently have Javonte Williams, Miles Sanders, Deuce Vaughn and Malik Davis vying for backfield snaps.
Huddle Up: Despite Jones' optimism, Dallas has one of the worst running back rooms in the league, so expect the team to address the position on Day 2 in what is one of the deepest running back classes in recent memory. Williams and Sanders seem to be locks to win roster spots, but there are at least five rookies still available who would likely win an open competition in training camp.

Impending free-agent RB Javonte Williams (Broncos) agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys Monday, March 10, worth as much as $3.5 million, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Williams seems to have a chance to receive most of the work at running back next season depending on that the Cowboys do at the position. Fantasy players should keep an eye on the situation because Williams could be a No. 3 or No. 4 running back if he starts for the Cowboys.

Denver Broncos impending free-agent RB Javonte Williams is a player the Broncos are open to re-signing this offseason, according to general manager George Paton.
Huddle Up: Williams was part of a committee with the Broncos this season and probably will not be a starter no matter where he signs this offseason. He likely can be avoided in most fantasy leagues next season.

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix went 13-for-22 for 144 yards and one touchdown against the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card playoff game. He also rushed for 43 yards on four carries during the game. RB Javonte Williams rushed for 29 yards on seven carries and caught two passes for 14 yards. WR Courtland Sutton was the leading receiver for the Broncos with five receptions for 75 yards on nine targets. WR Troy Franklin caught two passes for 54 yards and one touchdown on three targets during the game, while WR Marvin Mims caught two passes for 12 yards on four targets.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams ran the ball five times for 28 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18. He added three receptions for 50 yards. Williams was targeted four times.
Huddle Up: On a day when Denver ran the ball 43 times, Williams had five carries. Despite a respectable 78 yards, he's a long shot to deliver meaningful value in the Wild Card matchup against Buffalo.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams did not run the ball but was targeted twice, catching both for zero total yards at the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17 on Saturday, Dec. 28.
Huddle Up: Williams is the third-down back and obvious pass-pro RB for Denver, but he holds zero fantasy utility at this time.

Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams ran the ball four times for 24 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16. He also caught a game-high seven passes for 29 yards. He was targeted 11 times.
Huddle Up: With Jaleel McLaughlin (quad) inactive, Williams saw a lot of work in the passing game, setting season highs in targets (11) and receptions (7). While it didn't amount to a lot of yardage, it was still a step up from his recent efforts -- he'd totaled 31 yards in the previous three games combined. With extra rest before a Week 17 matchup with the Bengals, McLaughlin has a good shot to return, which would leave Williams with zero appeal. Even if McLaughlin remains out, Williams would still be no more than a desperation play.
