Free-agent DT Ross Blacklock, C Bryan Hudson, PK Jude McAtamney, C Jimmy Morrissey and DT Casey Rogers signed Reserve/Future contracts with the New York Giants Monday, Jan. 6. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

New York Giants CB Tre Hawkins III (back) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list, and C Jimmy Morrissey (undisclosed) was placed on the practice squad injured list Tuesday, Dec. 10. Also, CB Greg Stroman was signed from the practice squad to the active roster, and free-agent QB Tim Boyle (Giants) was signed to the practice squad.

Free-agent WR Miles Boykin, TE Lawrence Cager, OT Joshua Miles, OT Marcellus Johnson, LB Tomon Fox LB KJ Cloyd, RB Dante Miller, DT Casey Rogers, LB Ty Summers, S Raheem Layne, S Alex Johnson, C Jimmy Morrissey, and PK Jude McAtamney were signed to the New York Giants practice squad Thursday, Aug. 29.

New York Giants WR Isaiah Hodgins, WR Miles Boykin, TE Lawrence Cager, TE Jack Stoll, FB Jakob Johnson, C Jimmy Morrissey, OG Joshua Miles, OL Marcellus Johnson, DT Casey Rogers, LB Darrian Beavers, LB KJ Cloyd, LB Tomon Fox, CB Darnay Holmes, CB Tre Herndon, CB David Long, CB Alex Johnson, S Raheem Layne and PK Jude McAtamney were released Tuesday, Aug. 27. The team also waived/injured CB Mario Goodrich (hamstring), OG Jalen Mayfield (leg,ankle) and LB Ovie Oghoufo (hamstring). WR Isaiah McKenzie (foot) and LB Matthew Adams (quadriceps) were placed on the Reserve/Injured list, but Adams has been designated to return later in the season.

Free-agent WR Chase Cota (Texans) and C Jimmy Morrissey (Texans) signed Reserve/Future contracts with the New York Giants, the team announced Tuesday, Jan. 23.

Houston Texans OT Geron Christian and C Jimmy Morrissey were elevated from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Sept. 30. Also, DT Khalil Davis and OT Austin Deculus were signed to the active roster from the practice squad, and DB DeAndre Houston-Carson was released.

Houston Texans DT Byron Cowart, C Michael Deiter, WR Adam Humphries, LB Cory Littleton, DE Jake Martin, CB D'Angelo Ross and DE Chase Winovich were released Tuesday, Aug. 29. The team also waived DT Thomas Booker, WR Jalen Camp, CB Cameron Dantzler, DT Khalil Davis, OT Austin Deculus, RB Gerrid Doaks, CB Jacobi Francis, DL Ali Gaye, S Brandon Hill, WR Johnny Johnson III, TE Dalton Keene, C Jimmy Morrissey, OT Jordan Murray, DL Adedayo Odeleye, QB E.J. Perry, RB Larry Rountree, LB Garret Wallow, WR Jared Wayne and P Ty Zentner. In addition, OG Kenyon Green (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list, waived/injured OG Keaton Sutherland (undisclosed) and placed OT Charlie Heck (foot) on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list.

Houston Texans WR Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) and C Jimmy Morrissey (concussion) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 6, and have been ruled out for Week 18. CB Steven Nelson (illness) did not practice and is listed as questionable. DT Obo Okoronkwo (illness) was limited during practice and is listed as questionable. TE O.J. Howard (hip) fully participated in practice but is listed as questionable. TE Teagan Quitoriano (thigh) fully participated in practice and is not on the injury report.
