Indianapolis Colts PK Adam Vinatieri has made a few changes to his kicking approach this week after struggling in the opening game. Special teams coordinator Bubba Ventrone said Wednesday, Sept. 11, that they spotted a flaw in his mechanics while watching film. 'When we watched the tape, there's a few things he's going to get at this week that we are going to clean up,' Ventrone said. 'A few things mechanically, technique wise that he saw. He's the best self-corrector, you could say 'self-diagnoser'.'
Huddle Up: Vinatieri is in his 24th NFL season, but he remains a useful fantasy option in fantasy leagues of 14 or more teams since the Colts figure to have a respectable offense. It's always nice to have a future Hall of Famer on your roster, too.

Indianapolis Colts PK Adam Vinatieri said he is not sure if 2019 will be his final season. He said he could consider continuing his playing career if he is productive in 2019.
Huddle Up: Vinatieri made 23 of his 27 field goals this season and has been one of the more consistent kickers over the last several years. He can be a starting option in fantasy leagues.

Indianapolis Colts PK Adam Vinatieri agreed to a one-year contract Friday, Jan. 25, to remain with the team for the 2019 season.

Indianapolis Colts PK Adam Vinatieri wants to play a 24th NFL season in 2019. Vinatieri is a pending free agent this offseason.
Huddle Up: The 46-year-old Vinatieri finished 14th among fantasy kickers with 113 points, and if the Colts don't re-sign him, there's a good chance he'll win a job with another team that prefers a veteran kicker over a young and unproven one.

Indianapolis Colts impending free-agent PK Adam Vinatieri may return to the Colts if the Colts have their way, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Vinatieri has been historically accurate and consistent, but he's avoided No. 1 fantasy kicker numbers for two consecutive years now. Even if he's brought back in one of the league's best offenses, there are plenty of better options at kicker.

Indianapolis Colts PK Adam Vinatieri said he will take one to two weeks to decide if he will return for the 2019 season, although he hinted that he would come back if the club offered him a contract.
Huddle Up: Despite being the NFL's oldest player at age 46, Vinatieri was an impressive 23-for-27 on field goal attempts in 2018, including making four field goals of more than 50 yards. Assuming that he returns for his 24th season, he makes a solid starting option in all fantasy formats.

Indianapolis Colts PK Adam Vinatieri (groin) is likely to play in Week 8, head coach Frank Reich said Friday, Oct. 26.

Huddle Up: Owners should know more about Vinatieri's availability for Week 8 in the next day or two. He can be a starting option in fantasy leagues if he plays.

Indianapolis Colts PK Adam Vinatieri (groin) will test his groin injury in practice Thursday, Oct. 25. 'I'll have a pretty good idea,' Vinatieri said. 'It'll be easy to say 'no' if it's not right. And if it feels pretty good, we'll keep going forward.'
Huddle Up: The ageless Vinatieri has been a top-12 fantasy kicker so far, but his fantasy owners need to have another option at the ready this week.
