Confirming a previous report, Denver Broncos CB Chris Harris Jr. (shoulder) will play in the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots, despite continuing to experience some weakness and pain. He has a deep-tissue shoulder bruise that has required 24-hour treatment and even had difficulty brushing his teeth. However, the injury will not require surgery. Meanwhile, the Broncos have declared DT Darius Kilgo, RB Juwan Thompson, DB Lorenzo Doss, OG Robert Myers, C Sam Brenner, CB Taurean Nixon and QB Trevor Siemian inactive.
Huddle Up: The second-team All-Pro will give it a go, giving the Broncos a boost, but expect the Patriots to put him to the test early.

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos CB Chris Harris Jr. (shoulder) is ready for a full workload in the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, Jan. 24, according to head coach Gary Kubiak. Harris practiced in full all week and has shown that he is ready to play. 'I think Chris is fine,' Kubiak said. 'He had a good week. ... Everything I've seen this week in practice tells me Chris is fine, ready to go. ... I think he's feeling a lot better than going into last week's game.'
Huddle Up: Harris, a second-team All-Pro selection and a slot cover specialist, figures to be a key player for the Denver D defending against Julian Edelman.

Denver Broncos CB Chris X. Harris (knee) suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee and is out for the rest of the year. Harris will undergo surgery on his knee when the swelling subsides, and he'll start a rehab period of six to nine months. Harris isn't expected to participate in the team's offseason programs and will likely miss at least some of training camp and preseason. CB Quentin Jammer replaced Harris in the third quarter in the team's divisional round win over the San Diego Chargers.
Huddle Up: Tough to lose anyone at this juncture of the season, but from a Peyton Manning perspective maybe this means the Broncos will just have to score more points to compensate for the loss of a member of their secondary.

Denver Broncos CB Chris X. Harris (ankle) and OG Chris Kuper (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 14.
Huddle Up: Harris, the Broncos' No. 3 CB, came up with an ankle injury late in Week 1's win over the Steelers and has been out of practice this week. Not good news with Denver facing the suddenly pass-happy Falcons this Monday night. If Harris can't go, the Broncos will turn to journeyman Tony Carter and/or rookie Omar Bolden.
