Washington Redskins WR Steven Sims said he has been training this offseason to 'play maybe 90 plays in a game' and is eyeing a bigger and more versatile role in the offense. 'I want to show that I can run routes as well. I'm not just a gadget player. I'm a receiver, and I run routes,' Sims said.
Huddle Up: Sims will be competing with Kelvin Harmon, Cody Latimer and rookie Antonio Gandy-Golden for the No. 2 role behind Terry McLaurin. There should be plenty of targets available in the Dwayne Haskins-led offense, and Sims could warrant a late-round flier in deeper leagues.

Washington Redskins WR Steven Sims is the leading candidate for the slot receiver job this upcoming season but could be pushed by RB/WR Antonio Gibson for some snaps.
Huddle Up: Sims posted 310 yards and four touchdowns this past season and should be a solid target for the quarterback again in 2020. Fantasy players in point-per-reception leagues could consider Sims in the later rounds, but he probably will be avoided in most standard leagues.

Washington Redskins WR Steven Sims caught four passes for 40 yards against the Green Bay Packers in Week 14. He was targeted seven times during the game.
Huddle Up: Sims has received a bigger role in the passing game with Paul Richardson and Trey Quinn sidelined and has posted 69 yards over the last two games. Fantasy players should be able to find better options and can avoid Sims.

Washington Redskins WR Steven Sims had two receptions for just one yards in Week 5 against the New England Patriots, although he did have the only touchdown on a 65-yard running play.
Huddle Up: Despite the long touchdown for Sims, he isn't someone to bother with in fantasy football heading into Week 6 in most leagues.
