Kansas City Chiefs RB Darwin Thompson is expected to see the bulk of the carries for Week 17's game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Huddle Up: With Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle) already ruled out and Le'Veon Bell (knee) not expected to see more than a handful of snaps in a best-case scenario, owners in deeper fantasy formats may want to consider Thompson as a flex option this afternoon.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Darwin Thompson rushed for 38 yards on eight carries against the Denver Broncos in Week 15.
Huddle Up: The Chiefs used multiple players in the running game, but Thompson led the team in carries and yards. He likely would be involved in a committee again next week if Damien Williams is not available but can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Darwin Thompson ran 11 times for 44 yards and a touchdown in Week 13 against the Oakland Raiders.
Huddle Up: Thompson's performance came with two rather big caveats: Damien Williams missed the game due to a rib injury and Darrel Williams suffered a hamstring injury in the second half after the Chiefs had built a significant lead. Still, the rookie ran with the kind of power he displayed in the preseason and showed well. Thompson remains more of a dynasty stash than anything at the moment, although he could have low-end flex appeal if both Williams are forced to sit in Week 14.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Darwin Thompson has been receiving more first-team reps in recent practices, according to Nate Taylor of The Athletic.
Huddle Up: Presumed starter Damien Williams has been dealing with injuries during the spring, leaving the door open for Thompson to make a push more playing time. In the explosive Kansas City offense, the rookie looks like a high-upside player to target in the later rounds, especially if you draft Williams.
