Updating previous reports, Detroit Lions WR Jermaine Kearse (leg) could miss the 2019 season due to a broken left leg and additional injuries suffered to his ankle during the preseason game against the New England Patriots Thursday, Aug. 8.
Huddle Up: Kearse had been the leading candidate to win the Lions' No. 4 receiver job behind Marvin Jones, Kenny Golladay and Danny Amendola prior to getting hurt. WRs Andy Jones, Brandon Powell, Travis Fulham and Tommylee Lewis will battle for reserve spots but none of these candidates possess much value in any fantasy format.

Free-agent WR Jermaine Kearse (Jets) is signing with the Detroit Lions Thursday, June 6, according to a source. Terms weren't disclosed.
Huddle Up: Kearse could be a value pick late in PPR drafts as a WR5.

New York Jets WR Jermaine Kearse (Achilles') was on the sideline for practice Wednesday, Dec. 26, as he was unable to participate.
Huddle Up: Kearse was banged up in the game last week against the Packers and it doesn't sound as if he'll be able to play. However, circle back Friday for his official injury designation. He had four grabs for 55 yards on four targets before his injury last week, making him worth a look as a WR5 when healthy.

New York Jets WR Jermaine Kearse (calf) practiced in full for a third straight day Friday, Dec. 21 and he is off the injury report ahead of the Week 16 game against the Green Bay Packers.
Huddle Up: Kearse finished up strong last season, but this season has been a lost campaign. He simply cannot be trusted heading into the penultimate game, even with the absence of Quincy Enunwa.

New York Jets WR Jermaine Kearse went for six catches, 66 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets in Week 12 against the New England Patriots.
Huddle Up: The touchdown was Kearse's first of the season, and was his first trip to the end zone since Nov. 26, 2017 against the Carolina Panthers. He has re-emerged as a useful WR5 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 13.

New York Jets WR Jermaine Kearse caught two passes for 16 yards against the Buffalo Bills in Week 10.
Huddle Up: Kearse has been targeted 24 times over the last three games but has only recorded eight catches and 66 yards during those games. He should be avoided in all leagues after the team returns from their Week 11 bye.

New York Jets WR Jermaine Kearse ended up with just three catches and 20 yards despite the fact he was targeted a game-high nine times in Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins.
Huddle Up: Rookie Sam Darnold tried to feed it into Kearse but they were unable to connect very frequently. He has the eye of Darnold, though, and might be a bit of a sleeper heading into Week 10 against the Buffalo Bills.

New York Jets WR Jermaine Kearse finished with three receptions on a team-high 10 targets for 30 yards in a 24-10 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 8.
Huddle Up: While all the targets didn't result in a productive game, it appears that Kearse is the go-to target for the Jets' banged-up receiving corps. He could be a flex option in PPR formats moving forward.

New York Jets WR Jermaine Kearse had no catches on two targets in Week 7 against the Minnesota Vikings.
Huddle Up: Kearse was expected to see a bump in production with Quincy Enunwa out and Terrelle Pryor jettisoned earlier in the week, but he was invisible. Avoid him for fantasy purposes heading into Week 8 against the Bears.

New York Jets WR Jermaine Kearse caught nine of his 10 targets for 94 yards in a 42-34 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6.
Huddle Up: Kearse has been an afterthought this season, but once Quincy Enunwa left with an injury, he became a focal point of the passing attack. Sam Darnold seems to love his possession receivers, so Kearse could have some flex potential against Minnesota in Week 7 if Enunwa is sidelined.
