Indianapolis Colts RB Spencer Ware (undisclosed) was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list Wednesday, July 24, and he'll miss two weeks with an undisclosed muscle injury.
Huddle Up: Ware is a handcuff to Marlon Mack and could be worth an RB5 slot in his own right.

Indianapolis Colts RB Spencer Ware could take over as the team's featured back if RB Marlon Mack were to miss time, in the opinion of The Fan's Kevin Bowen, who lists that scenario as 'quite possible.'
Huddle Up: This isn't a particularly bold stance as Nyheim Hines, who currently sits behind Mack on the depth chart, profiles as a change-of-pace back and not a true primary backup. With Mack as an RB2 you'd need to be in a pretty deep league to even consider carrying Ware as a handcuff, but just file the info away for a possible in-season addition if Mack goes down.

Free-agent RB Spencer Ware (Chiefs) signed an undisclosed deal with the Indianapolis Colts Tuesday, April 30.
Huddle Up: Ware will provide depth, but he could be a solid short-yardage option behind Marlon Mack in the offense. Take a look at him as an RB5 in traditional leagues, and he receives a boost in TD-only leagues.

Free-agent RB Spencer Ware (Chiefs) is visiting the Detroit Lions Monday, March 18.
Huddle Up: Ware can still be an RB4 if he lands in the right timeshare to run between the tackles.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Spencer Ware (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 18, and is not on the injury report for the AFC Championship game.
Huddle Up: Ware has missed several weeks because of his injury but likely will be in uniform this week. His role in the offense is uncertain at this point, but he could still be considered a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Spencer Ware (hamstring) fully participated in practice Thursday, Jan. 17.
Huddle Up: Ware appears to have a good chance to play against the New England Patriots, but owners will need to monitor the situation. He will be a risky fantasy option if he plays but can still be at least a flex option.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Spencer Ware (hamstring) put in a limited practice Wednesday, Jan. 16.
Huddle Up: Ware's lack of good health has paved the way for Damien Williams to break out in Kansas City's backfield. Even if Ware is healthy enough to play, he won't see the same workload he did at the end of the regular season.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Spencer Ware (hamstring) is considered day-to-day because of his hamstring injury, according to head coach Andy Reid.
Huddle Up: Ware was limited during practice last week and was not able to play in the Divisional Round playoff game. Ware could be a game-time decision this week, so owners will need to monitor the situation.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Spencer Ware (hamstring) will participate in pregame warmups before the Divisional Round playoff game, but the team is not optimistic about his availability for the game, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Owners should check the inactive list for Ware's availability, but he would be a risky option if he plays. Damien Williams will be the starting running back if Ware is ruled out and can be a No. 2 fantasy running back or flex option in fantasy leagues.
