Dallas Cowboys WR Tavon Austin has agreed to re-sign with the team, according to a source Thursday, March 14.
Huddle Up: Austin's return helps ease the loss of Cole Beasley, but he'll remain a deep-league fantasy flier in most leagues as his first season in Big D yielded only 14 touches, 195 yards from scrimmage and two TDs.

Dallas Cowboys WR Tavon Austin (groin) will not be active for Week 15's game against the Indianapolis Colts, according to a source. However, the team is optimistic that he will return before the end of the regular season and be ready for the playoffs.
Huddle Up: Austin had been listed as questionable on the injury report after participating in all three of the team's practice sessions during the week on a limited basis. However, he shouldn't be viewed as a great fantasy option even when healthy.

Dallas Cowboys WR Tavon Austin played just 18 of 53 snaps in a Week 2 win.
Huddle Up: There will be those who rush to the waiver wire because Austin totaled 99 yards and scored, but don't let that be you. Austin was only targeted twice and only ran the ball once. He's merely a deep bench stash. The volume isn't there.

Dallas Cowboys WR Tavon Austin (hamstring) did not play in the preseason game Saturday, Aug. 18 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Huddle Up: Austin is a shifty player who has the potential to be a big playmaker on a team looking for a jolt in the passing game with Dez Bryant and Jason Witten moving on. However, he has been unable to show what he can do because of injury, and he is only worth a look as a late-round flier in the deepest of fantasy leagues at the moment.

Dallas Cowboys WR Tavon Austin will be implemented into the offense in a variety of ways, according to QB Dak Prescott. Austin can line up in the backfield, play X and Z wide receiver or line up in the slot.
Huddle Up: Austin is a shifty Swiss army knife, but he has disappointed his entire career since being a top-10 pick in 2013. Admittedly, the Cowboys are shallow at the receiver position and Dallas provides a fresh start for the perennial letdown. Nevertheless, he is, at best, a late-round flier.

Dallas Cowboys WR Tavon Austin could touch the ball 'a dozen to two dozen' times per game this season, according to executive vice president Stephen Jones.
Huddle Up: It would be shocking if Austin came anywhere close to that type of usage this year, but it does sound like he will have a chance to carve out a role. Austin could be a late-round lottery ticket.

Los Angeles Rams WR Tavon Austin was acquired by the Dallas Cowboys Saturday, April 28, in exchange for the 192nd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: Dallas has been looking for receiver help this offseason, so Austin has a chance to have a decent role in the passing game. He has not been very productive over the last few seasons and probably should only be a late-round option in deeper leagues.

Los Angeles Rams WR Tavon Austin rushed three times for 27 yards in Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals in London while adding two receptions for 15 yards on his only two targets.
Huddle Up: Austin is an exciting play maker, but the Rams still cannot figure out how to make the most of his speed. He remains nothing more than a WR4 or flex play in most fantasy leagues after the upcoming bye.

Los Angeles Rams WR Tavon Austin rushed six times for 27 yards and a touchdown in Week 5 against the Seattle Seahawks and he added three catches for 14 yards.
Huddle Up: The Rams want to get the ball into the hands of the speedy Austin, and he is much more dangerous in the run game than he has been in the passing game so far in his career. His fantasy appeal is rather limited to deeper leagues heading into Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Los Angeles Rams WR Tavon Austin rushed six times for 48 yards in Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys while making just one catch for minus-2 yards on two targets.
Huddle Up: Austin is a speedster, and the Rams are trying to get the ball in his hands as much as possible. Unfortunately he does do much in the receiving game, and that's a problem for a wide receiver. As such his fantasy value is rather limited heading into Week 5 against the Seattle Seahawks.
