Washington Commanders RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. (ankle) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Thursday, Dec. 28.
Huddle Up: Tough break for the sixth-round rookie, who had a 10-58-2 line on the ground last week. Brian Robinson Jr. was limited in practice Wednesday, and if he's able to go, B-Rob and Antonio Gibson will be the only backs on this team worth having for now.

Washington Commanders RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 27.
Huddle Up: Rodriguez recorded two rushing touchdowns in the last game, but his injury makes him uncertain for Week 17. He will see some work even if Brian Robinson Jr. is able to return to the lineup but probably can be avoided in most leagues.

Washington Commanders RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. (ankle) had a walking boot on his right foot in the locker room following the Week 16 game against the New York Jets.
Huddle Up: Rodriguez had a strong showing against the Jets, but he apparently injured his ankle during the performance. Rodriguez may have played his way into a bigger role, but he will have to be healthy before he can try to for a repeat effort in Week 17.

Washington Commanders RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. rushed 10 times for a team-best 58 yards with two touchdowns in Week 16 against the New York Jets, while adding a 7-yard catch on his only target.
Huddle Up: Rodriguez did a good job as the lead back for the Commanders with Brian Robinson Jr. on the shelf again. Rodriguez averaged 5.8 yards per carry, while Antonio Gibson had a total of 10 touches, while averaging just 3.3 yards per run. If Robinson remains sidelined, it appears Rodriguez has some RB3 or flex fantasy appeal heading into Week 17, although it is a tough matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.

Washington Commanders RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. "should continue to see more work" moving forward, according to John Keim of ESPN.com.
Huddle Up: Rodriguez saw a season-high seven carries in Week 7, and he led the team in rushing. The Washington ground game has struggled this year, but if Rodriguez can provide some juice, his role should continue to grow. He is worth grabbing if you need running back depth.
