Philadelphia Eagles TE Richard Rodgers (undisclosed) was carted off the field Monday, Aug. 19.
Huddle Up: Rodgers is a leading candidate for the Eagles' TE3 role, but he's unlikely to see much work in the passing game behind Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert.

Green Bay Packers TE Richard Rodgers (shoulder) did not participate in practice for the second consecutive day Thursday, Dec. 28.
Huddle Up: Rodgers is coming off by far his best game of the season, when he hauled in all four of his targets for 77 yards and his first touchdown of the campaign. However, despite the rare outburst, Rodgers is just a TE2 for the deepest of formats if he plays. Previously, he hadn't registered more than one catch in a game since Week 1, plus it's Brett Hundley under center.

Green Bay Packers TE Richard Rodgers (shoulder) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 27.
Huddle Up: Rodgers is nothing more than a TE2 in most fantasy formats for the regular season finale in Detroit with Brett Hundley back under center in place of the injured Aaron Rodgers (collarbone).

Green Bay Packers TE Richard Rodgers (shoulder) is still being evaluated for the shoulder injury he suffered in Week 16, head coach Mike McCarthy said Monday, Dec. 25.
Huddle Up: Rodgers had such nice rapport in the return of Aaron Rodgers in Week 15, but he hasn't really connected as well with backup Brett Hundley. He isn't someone to rely upon for fantasy, even if Richard Rodgers is cleared for Week 17. If he is out it would be Lance Kendricks holding down the fort.

Green Bay Packers TE Richard Rodgers (shoulder) exited after suffering a shoulder injury against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 16, and he is questionable to return.
Huddle Up: Even if Rodgers can't return, it won't be a big blow for fantasy owners. Once Aaron Rodgers was placed on IR, any chance Rodgers had of being a useful contributor over the final two weeks disappeared.

Green Bay Packers TE Richard Rodgers finished with four receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown on his four targets in Week 15 against the Carolina Panthers.
Huddle Up: Rodgers stepped up late and jelled nicely with Aaron Rodgers, who was back after a lengthy absence due to a collarbone injury. Richard Rodgers could be a sneaky low-end TE1 in deeper fantasy leagues heading into Week 16 now that he has his quarterback under center again.

Green Bay Packers TE Richard Rodgers was targeted just once in the Week 12 game against the Philadelphia Eagles Monday, Nov. 28, and he did not have any receptions.
Huddle Up: Rodgers had 14 catches over the past three games, but he was blanked here. He also hasn't had any touchdowns in eight games dating back to Week 3. Avoid him in all fantasy leagues, as Jared Cook appears to have the eye of Aaron Rodgers more so than Richard Rodgers.

Green Bay Packers TE Richard Rodgers hauled in six receptions for 64 yards on 10 targets in the Week 9 game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Huddle Up: Rodgers had his finest game by far, as he entered with just nine grabs for 84 yards and a touchdown in his previous seven outings. Wait to see him do this at least one more time before trusting him in fantasy leagues again.

Green Bay Packers TE Richard Rodgers is expected to start over TE Jared Cook, not just in 2016, but for the next few seasons, according to Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. An advantage Rodgers has this season is that he is in better shape after weighing up to 272 pounds last year.
Huddle Up: This is a reminder not to overlook the third-year tight end -- who finished ninth among fantasy tight ends last season -- in favor of the shiny new free-agent acquisition, but in all, Cook's arrival knocks both out of legitimate draftable position with a target split fully expected.
