Kansas City Chiefs WR De'Anthony Thomas is expected to have a big role against the Denver Broncos in Week 17.
Huddle Up: The Chiefs are resting several starters, so Thomas should see plenty of snaps. Patrick Mahomes' big arm and Thomas' big-play speed could hook up for a long play, but Thomas is still no more than a DFS dart throw.

Kansas City Chiefs WR De'Anthony Thomas is expected to work as the team's No. 2 wide receiver in Week 9 against the Dallas Cowboys with WR Albert Wilson (hamstring) ruled out.
Huddle Up: Thomas will be the team's No. 2 wideout, starting opposite Tyreek Hill. He could see an increase in targets, and the versatile receiver might even see a rush or two. However, he hasn't had more than three touches in a single game this season, so he is still only worth considering as a WR5 in deeper fantasy formats at this time.

Kansas City Chiefs WR De'Anthony Thomas posted three receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown in the Week 6 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Huddle Up: The highlight of the day was a 57-yard touchdown midway through the fourth quarter. He entered with just three receptions for 22 yards all season, so the score was quite the surprise. Despite the score he isn't someone who warrants fantasy consideration in most formats.

Kansas City Chiefs WR De'Anthony Thomas' longest play from scrimmage in 22 games is 36 yards, and he is averaging just 7.4 yards per catch.
Huddle Up: Thomas, a fourth-round pick in 2014, certainly has had a limited impact at best in his two seasons with only 63 offensive touches and 443 total yards. He's been a decent punt returner with a 10.0-yard average and a TD on 63 returns, but perhaps new Niners coach Chip Kelly could find more offensive use for him if he can swing a trade for his former Oregon standout.
