Houston Texans exclusive rights free-agent OT Jarrett Kingston signed a one-year contract extension worth $1.1 million Saturday, Feb. 21. The deal includes a $1.075 million non-guaranteed base salary with $575,000 split salary, a $15,000 signing bonus and a $10,000 workout bonus that can be earned in an offseason program.

The team also released OL Ben Bartch, WR Robbie Chosen, OL Chris Hubbard, DL T.Y. McGill Jr., OL Brandon Parker, TE Eric Saubert, WR Trent Taylor, TE Logan Thomas, S Tracy Walker, DL Nick Williams and CB Rock Ya-Sin. LB Dre Greenlaw (Achilles) was placed on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list and DT Kalia Davis (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list. Davis has been designated to return later in the season.
