Washington Commanders QB Marcus Mariota connected on 28 of his 50 passing attempts for 294 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception against the Denver Broncos in Week 13. He added a game-high 55 yards on 10 carries in the loss.
Huddle Up: Outside of a couple of head-scratching decisions, Mariota played a good game Sunday night, especially considering the level of competition. It ultimately came up short when his two-point conversion pass was knocked down, but any fantasy owners bold enough to have rolled the dice were rewarded with legitimate dual-threat production. Whether he'll start another game this year remains unclear, however, as Jayden Daniels (elbow) returned to practice this week, and the team doesn't seem inclined to sit him when he's healthy -- otherwise, why not simply put Daniels on IR? A trip to Minnesota to face the free-falling Vikings is on tap, so keep an eye out to see who will start for Washington in that one.

Washington Commanders QB Marcus Mariota will start Week 13's game against the Denver Broncos, as a result of QB Jayden Daniels (elbow) having been ruled out due to a dislocated left elbow.
Huddle Up: It appears as though Daniels has a good chance to resume playing in Week 14 versus the Minnesota Vikings, since he was able to participate in all three of Washington's practice sessions this week on a limited basis. Mariota should only be viewed as a starting fantasy option in two-quarterback fantasy leagues for as long as Daniels is sidelined.

Washington Commanders QB Marcus Mariota went 20-for-30 for 213 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the Miami Dolphins in Week 11. He also rushed for 49 yards on four carries during the game.
Huddle Up: Mariota missed a few plays because of a concussion evaluation but returned and played the rest of the game. He has posted decent numbers since taking over for Jayden Daniels for the second time this season. He will be the starter until Daniels returns and can be a possible option in two-quarterback leagues after the team's Week 12 bye.

Washington Commanders QB Marcus Mariota (head) left the Week 11 game early in order to be evaluated for a concussion but has been cleared to return.
Huddle Up: Mariota will have a bye next week in case he experiences any symptoms after the game. He will be the starter as long as Jayden Daniels is sidelined and can be an option in two-quarterback leagues most weeks.

Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels (elbow) was ruled out for Week 11. QB Marcus Mariota will start.
Huddle Up: Mariota is a sneaky option against a Miami Dolphins team that trimmed its roster on defense at the trade deadline. Add in that their top pass rusher Bradley Chubb is questionable with an injury, and Mariota could be a low-end QB1 this week.

Washington Commanders QB Marcus Mariota completed 16 of his 22 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns and rushed five times for 22 yards in a 44-22 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 10.
Huddle Up: Mariota finished with a solid stat line in a losing effort, and if Jayden Daniels isn't ready to return in Week 11, Mariota will draw favorable matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Keep Mariota in mind as a QB2 if you need a streaming option next weekend.

Washington Commanders QB Marcus Mariota completed 21 of 30 passes for 213 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in a Week 8 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Mariota also ran the ball eight times for a team-high 28 yards.
Huddle Up: Mariota actually played pretty well on Monday night. His two interceptions featured one that went right through Deebo Samuel's hands and bounced off his facemask to end a promising opening drive, and the other came on the final pass of the night with less than 30 seconds left. The team (and fantasy owners) hope that Jayden Daniels (hamstring) will be ready to roll this Sunday night against the Seahawks, but if Mariota is needed to make another start you'd want to avoid him against that Seattle pass rush.

Washington Commanders QB Marcus Mariota completed 4-of-10 for 63 yards with an interception and ran twice for 34 yards in Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys.
Huddle Up: Mariota, whose interception was returned for a touchdown by DaRon Bland, could be pressed into service for a third time this season depending upon how starter Jayden Daniels recovers from his hamstring injury. In his first two starts, the former Heisman winner completed 31 of 48 passes for 363 yards with three touchdowns and an interception, and ran eight times for 60 yards and a score.

Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels (hamstring) left the Week 7 game against the Dallas Cowboys in the second half, and he will not return due to a hamstring injury. QB Marcus Mariota will finish up the game. Daniels finished 12-of-22 for 156 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions, while running eight times for 35 yards and a TD.
Huddle Up: Daniels was nicked up earlier in the season already, and now he is on the shelf again. It's part of the deal with mobile quarterbacks, as sometimes they're subject to a few more nicks and bruises, sometimes even more serious. Sadly, he was hurt here when twisted around awkwardly in the pocket, pulling a hammy. Fantasy managers are back to holding their breath again. Perhaps he didn't return as a precaution, as the game was out of hand at the time. When his status is updated by the coaching staff, we'll pass it along.

Washington Commanders QB Marcus Mariota went 16-for-27 for 156 yards, two touchdowns and one interception against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4. He also rushed for 20 yards on two carries during the game.
Huddle Up: Mariota has been solid as the starter while Jayden Daniels has been sidelined, but it is not known if Mariota or Daniels will start in Week 5. Fantasy players should monitor the situation during the week because Daniels is a weekly starting option when healthy.
