Green Bay Packers WR Matthew Golden is believed to have a bigger target share in the team's offense in 2026.
Huddle Up: Golden had a hard time finding his footing in the Packers' deep wide receiver room in 2025. With 2026 being his second year in the league, and roster moves expected, he could see the larger target share that is being projected. Until the depth chart settles down, though, he remains a flex play or WR3 in deeper leagues at most.

Green Bay Packers WR Matthew Golden (Achilles) practiced in full all week and is no longer listed on the injury report.
Huddle Up: Golden has had a slow rookie season, so he can be avoided in playoff pools this postseason. However, Golden can earn a better role in the 2026 season with a strong showing in the playoffs.

Green Bay Packers WR Matthew Golden (Achilles) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Jan. 7.
Huddle Up: Golden seems to be on track to play in the Wild Card playoff game but has not been a big part of the passing game during the second half of the season with at least 20 yards in only two of his last eight games. He may see a few targets this week but can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

Green Bay Packers WR Matthew Golden ended up with an 8-yard reception on his only catch on three targets in Week 18 against the Minnesota Vikings.
Huddle Up: Golden is a tremendous long-term keeper option in fantasy leagues, as the upside is there, and he'll be a late-round pick in fantasy playoff leagues, with some value in DFS leagues as a low-cost option.

Green Bay Packers WR Matthew Golden caught one of his three targets for 12 yards in a 41-24 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 17.
Huddle Up: The rookie continues to struggle to find a role in the offense, and with Jayden Reed back in the mix, it doesn't seem like Golden is going to make a meaningful contribution the rest of the way. At this point, he is only an asset in dynasty formats.
