Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett is not attending Phase 1 of the offseason program for the team. He is asking for an extension, as he is set to make just $1.5 million in guaranteed money in 2026.

Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett and QB Gardner Minshew are the main candidates for the team's starting quarterback job at this point, but general manager Monte Ossenfort said the team is not ready to name a starter yet.
Huddle Up: There is a chance that the Cardinals add a quarterback during the 2026 NFL Draft, so there will likely be multiple candidates for the job. Brissett is probably the leading candidate at this point but will only be a No. 2 fantasy quarterback if he starts.

Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett has not been informed that he will enter 2026 as the starting quarterback, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Although Kyler Murray is officially out of the picture, the Cardinals did add Gardner Minshew to the quarterback room. Brissett put up solid stats after taking over as the starter last year, but it remains to be seen if Arizona will add another veteran at the position or draft a rookie.

Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett may be placed on the trade block if the team decides to keep QB Kyler Murray, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler.
Huddle Up: Brissett played in 14 games this past season and threw for 23 touchdowns and eight interceptions during that span. He would likely receive interest from a few teams if he became available but will only be a No. 2 fantasy quarterback if he starts for a team in 2026.

Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett could be a potential trade target for the New York Jets. Brissett played for offensive coordinator Frank Reich when he was the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts.

Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett completed 22 of his 31 passes for 243 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in a 37-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 18. He also rushed three times for 19 yards and a lost a fumble.
Huddle Up: Brissett put up solid number after taking over as the starter, and he threw multiple touchdowns in 10 of his 12 starts. Of course, the Cardinals also lost 11 of those games. With the Kyler Murray era likely over, the Cardinals will presumably look to add a young quarterback ahead of next season. Brissett could still open the year as the starter, but it would be a surprise to see him under center for the entire year.

Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett went 21-for-37 for 212 yards and two touchdowns against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17.
Huddle Up: The Cardinals were trailing for most of the game, so Brissett had to throw often during the game. He has thrown at least two touchdowns in four of the last five games and can be a possible starting option in two-quarterback leagues.

Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett completed 16 of his 31 passes for 203 yards, a touchdown and an interception in a 26-19 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 16. He also added a five-yard run.
Huddle Up: Brissett's 203 yards were his fewest since becoming the starter, and he also failed to throw multiple touchdowns for the first time. The good news is that he should have a golden opportunity to bounce back in Week 17 when the Cardinals face the Cincinnati Bengals.

Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett completed 27-of-40 passes for 249 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in Week 15 against the Houston Texans.
Huddle Up: Brissett was facing a very difficult matchup against the suffocating Houston defense, but he had a decent statistical day, with most stats coming after the game was decided. Fantasy managers don't care how the points come, as long as they do. He has been putting up QB1-type fantasy numbers on a regular basis, shockingly.

Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett ranks first in the NFL in passing yards, completions and pass attempts since taking over as the starter in Week 6.
Huddle Up: Brissett has thrown multiple touchdowns in seven of his eight starts and has topped 250 passing yards in all of them. Unfortunately, he has a tough Week 15 matchup against an elite Houston defense, so his run of strong performances will be put to the test. Brissett isn't an ideal QB1 option this weekend.
