Washington Football team RB J.D. McKissic rushed eight times for 45 yards and caught eight passes for 65 yards in a 31-13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6.
Huddle Up: McKissic logged a season high in carries, touches and a total yards, but as the No. 2 option behind Antonio Gibson, McKissic is tough to trust outside of deeper PPR formats.

Washington Football Team RB J.D. McKissic (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 8, and is not on the injury report for Week 5.

Washington Football Team RB J.D. McKissic ran four times for 10 yards and a touchdown on Thursday, Sept. 16, against the New York Giants. McKissic was also targeted six times as a receiver, catching five for 83 yards.
Huddle Up: McKissic turned his nine touches into 93 total yards with 56 of them coming on a sideline route. He also vultured a goal-line carry, much to the dismay of Antonio Gibson owners, and cashed in from two yards out. McKissic has a pretty narrow window with which to generate fantasy value due to limited touches, but he continues making the most of them.

Washington Football Team RB J.D. McKissic finished fifth among running backs in 2020 with an average of 5.8 yards per touch.
Huddle Up: That's a number reflective of one of the league's top pass-catching backs -- McKissic finished with 80 catches, second only to Alvin Kamara's 83. That career-high number, though, is due for a dip with second-year lead back Antonio Gibson expected to be healthier and see more work in the passing game in 2021. It adds up to low-end RB4/RB5 expectations in PPR formats for McKissic.

Washington Football Team RB J.D. McKissic's 589 receiving yards and 80 receptions trailed only New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara among running backs in 2020.
Huddle Up: McKissic's 7.4 yards per reception were far from impressive, but he did finish in the top 25 in catches. Unless Washington dramatically upgrades its offensive firepower in the offseason, McKissic should have value as a PPR flex option, especially in deeper leagues.

Washington Football Team RB J.D. McKissic rushed 13 times for a team-high 51 yards in Week 15 against the Seattle Seahawks, his former team. He also added nine receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets.
Huddle Up: McKissic was getting the lion's share of the backfield work with Antonio Gibson sidelined. He showed the Seahawks what they were missing, as he was the best running back on the field in this game. He has emerged as a solid RB3 in most fantasy leagues, especially PPR formats. Washington hosts the Carolina Panthers in Week 16.
