Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) told reporters he is "throwing full speed" and intends to participate at some level during organized team activities, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Watson has been a monumental disappointment for the Browns since his trade from the Houston Texans in March of 2022, but injuries have played an important role in his inability to reach the same heights he did before the trade. Cleveland appears to be going all-in on giving him the supporting cast he needs, as the team added Jerry Jeudy to a supporting cast that already had Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore and David Njoku. Watson will be considered a middling QB2 this offseason, but there is a decent possibility he manages to return to his former QB1 self if he is truly fully healthy.

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) told reporters on Thursday, April 4, that he is "very confident" he will be ready to play in the season opener.
Huddle Up: Watson underwent shoulder surgery in mid-November, so it would make sense why he and his doctors are confident he will be ready to play nearly 10 months later. The question will likely be how much he will participate in training camp. Watson's first two seasons with Cleveland have not gone according to plan, but he has a shot at bouncing back this year with a loaded supporting cast. Consider him a fantasy QB2 option with low-end QB1 upside.

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) has been receiving positive medical reports this offseason as he rehabs his shoulder, and general manager Andrew Berry said the team does not expect any issues for Watson, according to The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot.
Huddle Up: Watson appears to be on track to participate in training camp and should be fine for the start of the 2024 regular season. He has been inconsistent since joining the Browns and probably should be considered a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues but has the chance to have more value if he plays well.

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) is expected to begin throwing during the month of March, according to sources Monday, Feb. 19.
Huddle Up: Watson averaged 14.5 fantasy points per game while dealing with a shoulder injury but did have two top-10 finishes through the first three weeks. Managers will need to monitor his throwing progress, and he should be viewed as a high-end QB2 until he shows more consistency.

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) is making good progress in his recovery and will be the Browns starting quarterback moving forward, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski.
Huddle Up: It is not known if Watson will be able to participate in offseason workouts, but he should be ready for training camp. He played well at times this season but may be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in leagues next season.

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) underwent surgery on his injured shoulder on Tuesday, Nov. 21. The procedure was performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who expects Watson to be ready for the start of the 2024 season.
Huddle Up: Fantasy managers already know Watson is out for the remainder of the season, but this report is further confirmation that he should be fine to play in 2024. The Browns will move forward this season with some combination of Dorian Thompson-Robinson, P.J. Walker or Joe Flacco.

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder, ankle) suffered a displaced fracture in the glenoid of his right shoulder, which will require surgery. He'll be placed on the Reserve/Injured list and miss the rest of the season.
Huddle Up: P.J. Walker will be the starter, but he offers very little in fantasy.

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (ankle) will undergo further tests after suffering an ankle injury against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10, according to sources Monday, Nov. 13.
Huddle Up: Watson said he expects to be fine and was seen with a walking boot after the game. He was able to finish the game and posted 16.2 fantasy points in a tough matchup. He's a fringe QB1 if active in Week 11.
