Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley (personal) is eligible to be activated from the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list this week, but head coach Arthur Smith told reporters Monday, Nov. 22, that he has no update on when Ridley will return to the team.
Huddle Up: Ridley has been away from the team since Week 7 as he continues to focus on his mental health. While his health is the most important thing to consider here, the Falcons' offense has suffered in his absence. Cordarrelle Patterson has managed to remain relevant given his contributions as a runner and receiver, but defenses have largely been able to take away Kyle Pitts with no other receiver on the roster capable of threatening them like Ridley can.

Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley (undisclosed) was placed on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list Friday, Nov. 5. He will be sidelined for at least three weeks.
Huddle Up: Ridley has stepped away to focus on his mental health and there is no timetable for his return. Kyle Pitts and Cordarrelle Patterson will be the main options in the passing game, and both should be weekly starting options.

Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley said he needs to take some time away from football so he can focus on his mental health. There is no timetable for his return.
Huddle Up: It appears like Ridley will miss multiple games, so fantasy players will need to monitor the situation. Kyle Pitts, Cordarrelle Patterson and Russell Gage Jr. will be the main options in the passing game. Pitts and Patterson are weekly starting options, while Gage can be a flex option.

Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley was declared inactive for the Week 8 game because of a personal matter.

Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley caught four passes for 26 yards and one touchdown against the Miami Dolphins in Week 7. He was targeted 10 times during the game.
Huddle Up: Ridley led the team in targets against the Dolphins but was not able to find a good connection with Matt Ryan. He will continue to be a focal point in the passing game for Atlanta and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver next week.

Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley (personal) returned to practice Monday, Oct. 18.
Huddle Up: Ridley's mind and body should be right after missing Week 5 due to his personal issue and resting up during the Week 6 bye. He may be in good shape to take advantage of a shorthanded Miami Dolphins defense in Week 7 that played without both of its top cornerbacks this weekend. Consider him a strong WR1 option if Byron Jones and Xavien Howard are unable to make it back in time.

Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley (non-injury) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 8, and has been ruled out for Week 5.
Huddle Up: Cordarrelle Patterson and Olamide Zaccheaus likely will be the starting receivers for the Falcons with Ridley and Russell Gage sidelined. Patterson has played very well over the last few games and can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Updating a previous report, Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley (undisclosed) isn't making the trip to London and will miss the team's Week 5 game Sunday, Oct. 10, due to an undisclosed personal matter, the team announced Thursday.
Huddle Up: Yikes ... a huge Week 5 blow for Ridley's fantasy owners and the Falcons' passing game. Olamide Zaccheaus and Tajae Sharpe will likely serve as Atlanta's top WRs, but expect TE Kyle Pitts and do-it-all RB/WR Cordarrelle Patterson to soak up most of Ridley's 10.5 targets per game.

Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley posted seven catches for 80 yards on 13 targets in Week 4 against the Washington Football Team.
Huddle Up: Ridley was overshadowed by Cordarrelle Patterson, who had three touchdowns in this one, but Ridley was able to produce at least seven grabs for the third straight. His 80 yards also marked a season best. He remains a legit WR2 in all PPR leagues, while he is more of a lower-end WR2 or flex fantasy play in standard leagues. The Falcons meet the Jets in London in Week 5.
