Miami Dolphins RBs Chase Edmonds, Myles Gaskin, Raheem Mostert, Salvon Ahmed and Sony Michel will be involved in a ''creative competition,'' according to assistant head coach/running backs coach Eric Studesville. ''You create a competitive environment and you let those guys go sort it out because that's how it's going to happen,'' Studesville said. ''They're going to sort it out as to who contributes and where and how and how much.''
Huddle Up: This is going to be a tough situation to deal with in your fantasy draft because anyone could wind up winning. On the other side of the coin, any of them could be cut. Edmonds and Gaskin are RB3s, but Mostert has shown game-breaking ability when his body isn't breaking down.

Free-agent RB Chase Edmonds (Cardinals) agreed to a two-year, $12.6 million deal with the Miami Dolphins Monday, March 14. It includes $6.1 million guaranteed.
Huddle Up: Edmonds has shown flashes in small intervals. Who can forget that game against the New York Giants in 2019 when he rushed for 126 yards and three touchdowns out of the blue? Edmonds has also proven to be an injury risk. He'll likely be in a timeshare with Myles Gaskin and could be an RB3 with upside.

Arizona Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds (ribs, toe) fully participated in practice Saturday, Jan. 15, and is not on the injury report for the Wild Card playoff game.
Huddle Up: Edmonds should see a decent amount of touches during the game and could see most of the work at running back if James Conner is unable to play. He can be considered a No. 2 running back or flex option depending on his workload.

Arizona Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds (ribs, toe) will not play in Week 18 against the Seattle Seahawks, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury.
Huddle Up: Edmonds played the overwhelming majority of snaps at running back over the past two weeks with James Conner nursing a heel injury. Now it appears the two will reverse roles. With the Cardinals still in the running for the NFC West title, they will have no shortage of motivation to play their starters as they usually would. As such, Conner should carry a heavy workload and has a great shot to produce RB1 numbers.

Arizona Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds (ribs, toe) did not participate in practice Thursday, Jan. 6.

Arizona Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds (ribs, toe) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Jan. 5.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see if Edmonds is in any danger of missing the Week 18 game. He received 23 touches in the last game and will see plenty of work if he is active this week. He can be a No. 2 running back or flex option.

Arizona Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds ran for 53 yards on 18 carries and caught five of six targets for 29 yards in Week 17 versus the Dallas Cowboys.
Huddle Up: Edmonds operated as the featured back for a second consecutive week in place of the injured James Conner (heel) and was inefficient again. It did not matter much this week, however, as Dallas struggled to get anything going offensively until the fourth quarter. Edmonds should be a solid RB2 option in Week 18 against the Seattle Seahawks if Conner sits again, but he is running out of chances to prove he is anything more than a complementary back in the league.

Arizona Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds (back) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 31, and is not on the injury report for Week 17.
Huddle Up: Edmonds should receive most of the work at running back even if James Conner is active for the game. He can be considered a No. 2 running back in most fantasy leagues.

Arizona Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds (back) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 30.
Huddle Up: Edmonds was able to play last week despite the injury and should be in uniform again this week. He likely will receive most of the work at running back if James Conner is ruled out and can be a No. 2 running back or flex option in fantasy leagues.
