Free-agent RB Chase Edmonds (Broncos) is signing a veteran minimum deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to a source Thursday, March 16. The contract is expected to be for one year and worth $1.08 million.
Huddle Up: Edmonds likely will be in the mix to compete for a backup role behind Rachaad White so he's a handcuff at best.

Huddle Up: Edmonds rushed for 125 yards in five games after joining the Broncos this past season and probably would not have a big role in the offense if he remains with the team. Fantasy players in most leagues will be able to avoid him in drafts.

Denver Broncos RB Chase Edmonds (ankle) is expected to miss multiple weeks with the high-ankle sprain he suffered in Week 11 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Huddle Up: Edmonds barely had a chance to prove his worth to his new team, logging only 15 snaps in Week 10 before getting hurt on his third play in Week 11. With the Broncos waiving Melvin Gordon earlier Monday, they are left with Latavius Murray, Marlon Mack and practice-squader Devine Ozigbo for now. Mike Boone (ankle) can return from IR as early as Week 13. Murray is shaping up to be a decent flex play in Week 12 against the Carolina Panthers.
