Houston Texans RB Phillip Lindsay rushed seven times for 39 yards in Week 6 against the Indianapolis Colts while adding two receptions for 15 yards on two targets.
Huddle Up: Lindsay did pretty well, averaging 5.6 yards per rushing attempt, but he saw nine total touches to 20 for Mark Ingram. As long as that touch distribution in the backfield continues, Lindsay is only worth a roster spot in deeper fantasy leagues. The Texans travel to meet the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7.

Houston Texans RB Phillip Lindsay rushed five times for 19 yards in Week 5 against the New England Patriots and he was not targeted in the pass game.
Huddle Up: Lindsay averaged 3.8 yards per attempt, which was best among the trio of Houston tailbacks, but that's not saying much. As long as he is second fiddle to Mark Ingram, Lindsay's fantasy ceiling is rather limited. The Texans travel to meet the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6.

Houston Texans RB Phillip Lindsay had seven carries for five yards against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday, Sept. 23.
Huddle Up: Yards have been hard to come by for Lindsay this year, but in Weeks 1 and 2 he scored a touchdown to generate some semblance of fantasy value. That wasn't the case this week as nobody could get anything going on the ground. Until we see all-around improvement from Houston's offense under Davis Mills, Lindsay isn't even worth considering.

Houston Texans RB Phillip Lindsay had just two rushing yards on five attempts in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns, but he salvaged the line with a 22-yard touchdown catch on his only target.
Huddle Up: The touchdown was nice, but Lindsay's 0.4-yard rushing average was atrocious. He can be mostly avoided for fantasy purposes heading into Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday.

Houston Texans RB Phillip Lindsay rushed eight times for 25 yards and a touchdown in a 37-21 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1.
Huddle Up: Lindsay took a back seat to veteran Mark Ingram, who carried the ball 26 times, but Lindsay is younger and offers more big-play potential. Fantasy owners who drafted Lindsay may want to wait a few weeks to see how the touches are distributed in the Houston backfield.

Free-agent RB Phillip Lindsay (Broncos) reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year contract worth $3.25 million with the Houston Texans on Friday, March 19.
Huddle Up: Adding Lindsay is a solid depth move for Houston and probably one of the team's better signings so far in free agency, but it is a puzzling acquisition nonetheless. Lindsay will be the third Texan runner to make at least $3 million in 2021 and joins Mark Ingram as more of a straight-ahead early-down runner on an offense that figures to be trailing often next season. Fantasy owners should consider Lindsay a late-round pick at best in drafts this summer.

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay and the team mutually agreed to rescind his restricted free-agent tender Thursday, March 18, according to his agent Mike McCartney.
Huddle Up: Lindsay showed flashes of a fantasy gem a couple of years ago, but he couldn't stay on the field. He could be a great RB3 or maybe an RB2 in the right situation.

Denver Broncos restricted free-agent RB Phillip Lindsay (undrafted) was tendered at the original-round level Monday, March 15.

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay, a pending restricted free agent, is expected to be tendered by the team this offseason, according to a source. The question is whether the tender offer will be an original-round tender -- in Lindsay's case a no-round tender as he was an undrafted free agent -- or a second-round tender.
Huddle Up: Injury issues which cost Lindsay five games and portions of others in 2020 were the primary factor in seeing his total yards dip from 1,207 to 530 and his TDs fall from seven to one, but he is a smaller back with pass-catching and pass-protection limitations, reducing his free-agent value. It's easy to envision Lindsay re-signing with the Broncos after finding the market tepid --even if he receives a no-round tender -- and playing a RB 4/5 second fiddle to lead back Melvin Gordon in 2021.

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay said he was thrown off mentally last year by the signing of RB Melvin Gordon. 'This year I am going to take a different approach,' Lindsay said. 'I was in battle mode. Everything caught me off guard with my teammate Melvin coming in. You can burn yourself out like that.'
Huddle Up: Lindsay topped 1,000 rushing yards in each of his first two seasons, but the addition of Gordon and injuries limited him to 502 yards and one touchdown on the ground in 2020. Denver could chose to let Lindsay leave in free agency this offseason, but he will be handcuff to Gordon if he returns.
