Indianapolis Colts RBs Phillip Lindsay and Jordan Wilkins have been elevated from the practice squad for Week 9, the team announced on Saturday, Nov. 5.
Huddle Up: With Jonathan Taylor (ankle) ruled out and Nyheim Hines traded, Deon Jackson is set to lead this backfield in Week 9 and is a solid flex play. Lindsay figures to get more looks as the backup, but Wilkins may also get chances. Neither Wilkins nor Lindsay are starting options, though.

Indianapolis Colts RB Phillip Lindsay was elevated from the practice squad Thursday, Oct. 6.
Huddle Up: Jonathan Taylor's fantasy managers may have no choice but to start Lindsay, who has played for more teams over the last three seasons (four, including the Colts) than he has scored touchdowns (two) over that time. Making matters worse, the Colts were the league's lowest-scoring offense with Taylor healthy. The best fantasy managers can probably hope for is that Lindsay impresses enough against the Denver Broncos that he finds his way onto the active roster in the same way Latavius Murray did this week.

The Indianapolis Colts are likely leaning toward a committee approach with RB Nyheim Hines and RB Phillip Lindsay in Week 5 against the Denver Broncos on Thursday, Oct. 6. Starting RB Jonathan Taylor (ankle) was ruled out on the final injury report.
Huddle Up: Hines will be the third-down and two-minute back while mixing in with early-down carries. Lindsay was called up from the practice squad and is likely to see early-down work as well against his former team. Consider Hines an RB3 while Lindsay's only upside likely is if he falls into the end zone on a goal-line carry.
