Huddle Up: Dobbins will miss the rest of the season because of the injury but should be fine for 2024. Gus Edwards likely will take over as the starting running back for the Ravens and can be at least a flex option in all fantasy leagues.

Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (Achilles) is believed to have suffered a torn Achilles tendon during the Week 1 game and is scheduled to undergo an MRI to confirm the injury, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Dobbins likely will miss the rest of the season if the injury is confirmed, so fantasy players should look for an update in the next few days. Gus Edwards likely will receive most of the work while Dobbins is out and can be a No. 2 running back or flex option in fantasy leagues.

Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see how long Dobbins may be sidelined. Gus Edwards probably will be the main running back for the Ravens if Dobbins misses extended time and can be a No. 2 running back or flex option in leagues.

Baltimore Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (undisclosed) does not have a timetable for his return to the field, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

Baltimore Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (undisclosed) was placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list Friday, July 21.
Huddle Up: There is no official word on what Dobbins is dealing with, but the knee injury that has ruined a significant part of the last two seasons will probably be the designation. There is also the possibility that Dobbins' lack of readiness has to do with displeasure over his contract situation. The Ravens signed Melvin Gordon earlier in the day, which suggests the contract is more of an issue than the knee. Expect Dobbins to miss some - if not most - of training camp as a result. When he finally takes the field, he should be considered a strong fantasy RB2 option with RB1 upside.
