Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle likely will have his fifth-year option exercised this offseason, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Marcel Louis-Jacques.
Huddle Up: Waddle missed a few games this season but still posted his third straight 1,000-yard season to start his career. He will continue to be a main part of the passing game for the Dolphins and will be a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues in 2024.

Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Jan. 11, and is listed as questionable for the Wild Card playoff game.
Huddle Up: Waddle was a limited participant in all three practices this week and appears to be on track to return to the starting lineup. He is a big part of the passing game for the Dolphins when healthy and should be a starting option in all leagues this week.

Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Jan. 10. The Dolphins did not hold a practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation.
Huddle Up: Waddle has been sidelined for several weeks because of his ankle injury, so fantasy players will need to keep an eye on the situation to see if he will be able to play this week. He should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues if active for the game.

Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (ankle) was a limited participant at practice Tuesday, Jan. 9.
Huddle Up: Waddle missed the final two games of the season but averaged 82 yards per game from Weeks 11-16 so he's a flex option in playoff leagues.

Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (ankle) is not expected to play in Week 18's game versus the Buffalo Bills, according to a source. However, he should be ready for the postseason.
Huddle Up: Waddle had been listed as questionable on the injury report after logging just one limited practice session during the week. The team has already clinched a playoff spot, so they can afford to err on the side of caution with his health. Don't be surprised if WR Tyreek Hill is targeted 10 or more times on Sunday night and Waddle is held out of action against Buffalo.

Updating a previous report, Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 5, and is listed as questionable for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to check the inactive list to see if Waddle will be active for the Week 18 game. Waddle can be a starting option in all leagues when healthy, but fantasy players will need another option from that game available if he is ruled out since the Dolphins play on Sunday Night Football.

Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (ankle) will practice on a limited basis on Friday, Jan. 5, according to head coach Mike McDaniel, who added that he "would not close the door" on Waddle playing against the Buffalo Bills in Week 18.
Huddle Up: McDaniel's wording suggests Waddle probably will not play, as the head coach also talked to reporters about the need to do right by the player and the team by making sure Waddle has recovered to the point where he is ready for the playoffs. Miami will clinch the AFC East title and a No. 2 seed with a win but already have a spot in the postseason wrapped up, so they can afford to be a bit cautious with their receiver. Expect Tyreek Hill to push for 10 or more targets in Week 18.
