San Francisco 49ers RB Elijah Mitchell is viewed as the leader among the running backs. Mitchell said he hopes to add 15 pounds of mass this offseason to handle the physical toll of an NFL season better.
Huddle Up: Mitchell probably slots in as a great RB3 right now, but he could certainly be an RB2 if he can stay healthy.

San Francisco 49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (knee) said he underwent knee surgery after this past season but indicated that he will be ready for the 2022 season.
Huddle Up: Mitchell probably will not do much during offseason workouts but should be ready for training camp and the regular season. He earned the starting running back job in 2021 and can be at least a No. 2 running back in all fantasy leagues.

Huddle Up: Mitchell was held to 53 rushing yards in the Divisional Round game, which was his lowest total in seven games. He will still see plenty of touches this week and should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

San Francisco 49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (knee) returned from a three-game absence and rushed 21 times for 119 yards and caught two passes for 11 and a touchdown in a 23-7 win over the Houston Texans in Week 17.
Huddle Up: Mitchell showed no lingering effects from the knee injury as he topped 100 rushing yards for the sixth time this season. He is a must-start option ahead of the finale.
