Baltimore Ravens WR Rashod Bateman made his NFL debut in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Chargers, finishing with four catches on six targets for 29 yards.
Huddle Up: Bateman's role in the offense remains to be seen, but big things were expected out of the rookie prior to his injury. It is encouraging to see him tie for the team lead in targets in his first game, and he is worth picking up if you need receiver help.

Baltimore Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (groin) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Oct. 16.
Huddle Up: Bateman should be active for the Week 6 game but may be eased back into the lineup since it will be his season debut. Fantasy players may want to avoid him this week, but he can be a starting option in the future.

Baltimore Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (groin) is expected to make his NFL debut after missing the first five games of the season following core muscle surgery, according to comments made by head coach John Harbaugh on Friday, Oct. 15.
Huddle Up: Bateman's activation is likely a direct result of Sammy Watkins suffering a hamstring injury last week that could sideline him for a game or so. The rookie has been practicing in recent weeks and boasts a very high ceiling, but fantasy managers would be wise to leave him on the bench and see what he can do against a stingy Los Angeles Chargers pass defense before possibly using him in Week 7 versus the Cincinnati Bengals.

Baltimore Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (groin) has a chance to make his NFL debut in Week 6, offensive coordinator Greg Roman said Thursday, Oct. 14. Roman added that when Bateman does play, his playing time will be increased gradually until he's 'game ready. 'I don't think we're going to throw him into the fire every play,' Roman said.
Huddle Up: The time is certainly drawing closer for Bateman's fantasy owners, but the prudent move for most will still be keeping him on the bench until he gets up to speed and a usable snap share.

Baltimore Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (core) underwent core muscle surgery Friday, Aug. 13. The Ravens hope Bateman will be able to return at some point in September.
Huddle Up: There is a decent chance that Bateman misses a few regular season games because of the surgery, so fantasy players can monitor his recovery. He could be a late round option in deeper leagues but can be avoided in most leagues.

Baltimore Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (groin) may be a candidate to start the season on the Reserve/Injured list, in the opinion of The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec. Bateman would miss at least the first three weeks of the season if he is placed on IR.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players should keep an eye on the situation to see if Bateman is on the active roster or the reserve list. He should still have a solid role in the passing game once he is ready to play and could be a late round option in drafts.

Updating previous reports, Baltimore Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (groin) will undergo groin surgery and is expected to return sometime in September, head coach John Harbaugh said Thursday, Aug. 12.
Huddle Up: The rookie wideout is still a late-round flyer in drafts, but the chances of him delivering a usable WR4 season keep getting slimmer.

Updating previous reports, Baltimore Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (groin) will miss 'a number of weeks' due to a groin injury, according to head coach John Harbaugh.
Huddle Up: That likely kills his single-year value for now. He's still worth stashing in deeper formats or in dynasty leagues. Devin Duvernay could get a longer look and be worthy of a late-round flyer.

Updating previous reports, Baltimore Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (groin) is considered week-to-week after suffering a groin injury during practice Tuesday, Aug. 10.
Huddle Up: NFL Network's Mike Garafolo is reporting that evaluations are "ongoing and it's too early to know if he'll be sidelined to start a regular season." This news should effectively end whatever surge Bateman's fantasy stock was experiencing, but it also stands to make him a potential value pick later in the draft now. Fantasy managers should feel comfortable taking him as a WR4 and definitely as a WR5.
