Baltimore Ravens WR Rashod Bateman is "going to take a big step" and see the ball "a lot more" in 2024, according to head coach John Harbaugh.
Huddle Up: Bateman's first three seasons with the club have been largely disappointing after a strong start in his rookie year (2021). Injuries have been a major factor in his slow development, although he did stay healthy for the most part in 2023. Perhaps another healthy season and the possible departure of Odell Beckham Jr. will give Bateman enough opportunities to eclipse the 50-catch mark for the first time in 2024.

Baltimore Ravens WR Rashod Bateman managed just a single 2-yard reception on three targets in the AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Huddle Up: Bateman played in 16 regular-season games, but he managed just 56 receptions for 367 yards and one touchdown, and he has 1,167 receiving yards across 35 NFL regular-season games. While he isn't necessarily a bust, he hasn't come close to posting numbers anywhere close to a first-round player. Zay Flowers has blown past him for WR1 duties in Charm City. Heading into 2024, it wouldn't be surprising to see him go undrafted in most fantasy leagues.

Baltimore Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (illness) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 8, and is not on the injury report for Week 14.
Huddle Up: Bateman has not been a big part of the offense this season but probably will see a few targets against the Los Angeles Rams. Fantasy players in most leagues should have better options and can keep Bateman on the bench.

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (illness) did not take part in practice on Thursday, Dec. 7. Also, LB Malik Harrison (groin) was limited and WR Rashod Bateman (illness), LB Malik Hamm (ankle), CB Marlon Humphrey (calf), DL Justin Madubuike (concussion), LB Trenton Simpson (concussion) and CB Damarion Williams (ankle) practiced in full.

Baltimore Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (illness) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 6.
Huddle Up: It seems like Bateman should be able to return to practice later in the week and likely will be available for Week 14. He has been held to under 30 yards in each of the last four games and probably can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.
