Carolina Panthers QB Andy Dalton hasn't been a subject of trade talks with any team, according to general manager Dan Morgan on the Thursday, Feb. 26 episode of The Pat McAfee Show.
Huddle Up: Entering his 16th NFL season, Dalton would be acquired as a bridge to a younger quarterback in the trade market. He's going into his fourth season in Carolina with a 1-6 record as a starting quarterback backing up starting quarterback Bryce Young. Dalton's fantasy value in 2026 would be in case he's traded as a clear bridge starter, or if he's pressed into action following an injury to the quarterback ahead of him.

Carolina Panthers QB Andy Dalton is getting interest from teams around the NFL and have called the team gauging his availability via trade.
Huddle Up: Dalton's fantasy value would hinder on who would trade for him he the team decides to move on. Despite the potential hope, it is hard to imagine Dalton being a factor in fantasy football, regardless of his team, in 2026.

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young (ankle) left the Week 11 game against the Atlanta Falcons in the first quarter due to an ankle injury. He is listed as questionable to return. QB Andy Dalton is under center as the replacement.
Huddle Up: Young was off to a hot start, completing 8-of-9 passes for 82 yards and a touchdown before departing. When healthy, Young is considered a low-end QB2 in most fantasy leagues.

QB Andy Dalton (thumb), OT Taylor Moton (knee), and LB Trevin Wallace (shoulder) were limited in practice on Friday, Oct. 31, and are listed as questionable. G Damien Lewis (oblique), S Nick Scott (groin), and G Chandler Zavala (knee) practiced in full on Friday and are listed as questionable. Carolina Panthers QB Andy Dalton completed 16-of-24 passes for 175 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills, while running twice for one yard with two lost fumbles.
Huddle Up: Dalton was subbing in for the injured Bryce Young (ankle), and it was a terrible showing. If Dalton is entrusted with the offense again, should Young remain sidelined, the veteran would have fantasy value only in the deepest of leagues at this point.
