Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young and QB Andy Dalton both received work with the first-team offense during practice Monday, May 22.
Huddle Up: Young should enter training camp as the starting quarterback and likely will open the season as the starter with Dalton as the backup. Young probably will struggle at times during his rookie season but can be a No. 2 quarterback in some fantasy leagues.

Impending free-agent QB Andy Dalton (Saints) agreed to a two-year deal worth $10 million with the Carolina Panthers, according to a source Tuesday, March 14. The deal includes $8 million guaranteed and has a max value of $17 million.
Huddle Up: Dalton is likely to be the bridge veteran to whichever rookie the Panthers select in the 2023 NFL draft. He's a low-end QB2 even if he staves off the incoming rookie.

New Orleans Saints QB Andy Dalton has "done some good things" and will remain the starting quarterback over Jameis Winston in Week 15 versus the Atlanta Falcons, according to head coach Dennis Allen.
Huddle Up: Allen did not rule out the possibility of evaluating Winston, however. About the only thing here that affects the majority of fantasy owners is how it all affects Chris Olave, who is more of a floor play with Dalton and more of a high-floor, high-ceiling play with Winston. Dalton will have some low-end QB2 appeal this week in two-quarterback or superflex leagues.

New Orleans Saints QB Andy Dalton completed 20-of-28 passes for 225 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Week 13 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while adding a rushing yard on one attempt.

New Orleans Saints QB Andy Dalton completed 18-of-29 passes for 204 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 12 against the San Francisco 49ers, and he was the leading rusher with 21 yards on his four attempts.
Huddle Up: Dalton cannot be the leading rusher for the Saints to win, and they didn't come close. In fact, New Orleans was blanked for the first time since 2001, which was before Drew Brees came to town. The days of Dalton behind the starting quarterback in the Big Easy might be numbered, and he shouldn't be starting outside of the 16-team fantasy leagues using two starting quarterbacks at this time.
