Chicago Bears QB Andy Dalton was confirmed the starting quarterback for 2021 by general manager Ryan Pace.

Chicago Bears QB Andy Dalton was declared the starter Wednesday, March 24.
Huddle Up: It certainly wasn't unexpected after the Bears signed Dalton to a one-year, $10 million contract. The 33-year-old completed 64.9 percent of his passes for 2,170 yards and 14 touchdowns against eight interceptions in nine starts and 11 total games with the Dallas Cowboys last year. His receiving corps won't be as strong in Chicago, but WR Allen Robinson is a surefire No. 1 option both on the field and in fantasy. Dalton should also be able to make better use of WRs Darnell Mooney and Anthony Miller than did Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles last season. Dalton will be a high-end QB2 in 2021 fantasy drafts.

Huddle Up: Dalton posted solid numbers after taking over the Dallas Cowboys starting job this season but will have to learn a new offense and build chemistry with a new group of pass catchers. He should be considered a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues next season.

Dallas Cowboys QB Andy Dalton completed 19-of-33 passes for 209 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 15 against the San Francisco 49ers and he added two runs for eight yards.
Huddle Up: Dalton has been surprisingly good since returning from a month-long injury, throwing or two touchdowns in each of his past three games, and four of the past five. He isn't tearing it up, but he's not a bad QB2 in fantasy leagues starting two signal callers. The Cowboys

Huddle Up: Dalton has thrown at least two touchdowns in three of the last four games and was able to snap his five-game interceptions streak. He should be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues but probably can be avoided in standard leagues.
