Kansas City Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman (hamstring) was able to practice during June minicamp after missing time during OTAs.
Huddle Up: The departure of Tyreek Hill opens up a big opportunity for Hardman, but after the Chiefs used free agency and the draft to add to their receiving corps, there is no guarantee that Hardman's production takes major leap this season. Consider him a high-risk, high-reward WR4 or WR5.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman (hamstring) did not participate in practice due to a tweaked hamstring Thursday, May 26, according to head coach Andy Reid.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman 'can be a great player in this offense' and is expected to do 'big things' this year, according to quarterback Patrick Mahomes. 'He doesn't have to be Tyreek Hill. He has to be Mecole Hardman. And I think Mecole Hardman can be a great player in this offense. He's made a Pro Bowl already, and I think he can keep getting better and better. ... You're happy that he'll have an even bigger chance - a bigger opportunity - this year. I expect big things from him,' Mahomes said.
Huddle Up: With Marquez Valdes-Scantling and JuJu Smith-Schuster expected to occupy the first two spots in the receiver room, there isn't an abundance of pressure on Hardman to do more than he has since becoming a pro. However, Valdes-Scantling has not proven to be overly durable, so it might not take long for things to change. Hardman has significant upside, but it seems unlikely that he will emerge in a big way in his fourth year despite posting career highs of 59 receptions and 693 yards in 2021.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman (hip) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 28, and is not on the injury report for the AFC Championship game.
Huddle Up: Hardman has caught all five of his targets this postseason and should see a handful of targets this week. Fantasy players in most leagues likely will be able to find better options for their lineups.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman caught his only target for a 53-yard gain at the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17 on Sunday, Jan. 2.
Huddle Up: Hardman has fallen out of favor a little in the snap count, but his big-play ability makes him a viable DFS flier almost every week. The Denver Broncos held him to a solitary catch in Week 13's meeting.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman caught three of his five targets for 31 yards and a touchdown in a 36-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16.
Huddle Up: With Travis Kelce out of action, Hardman enjoyed a bigger workload than normal. Even in an increased role, he remains too inconsistent for fantasy owners to trust.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman caught two passes for 59 yards against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 14. He was targeted two times during the game.
Huddle Up: Hardman has been targeted only nine times over the last four games but has caught seven of those passes. He probably will see a few targets next week and can be benched if better options are available.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 1.
Huddle Up: Hardman likely will return to practice later this week and should be in uniform against the Denver Broncos. He has posted at least 30 yards in only one of the last five games and can be avoided in most leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman had a pair of catches for 25 yards on three targets in Week 11 against the Dallas Cowboys.
Huddle Up: Hardman has the potential to be so much better, but he just doesn't get enough touches. His fantasy appeal is limited to deeper leagues, although those who use him there will need to make alternate plans in Week 12 with the bye on its bye.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman picked up 20 yards on three receptions in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers and he was targeted six times.
Huddle Up: Hardman has at least three receptions in five straight games, and eight of nine games overall. He has emerged as a decent low-end WR4 or flex fantasy option in PPR leagues of 12 or more teams, with lesser appeal in standard play. The Chiefs travel to meet the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 10.
