The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed DL A'Shawn Robinson (Panthers) and QB Jake Browning (Bengals) while also placing a free agent tender on RB Sean Tucker on Friday, March 13.

Impending free-agent QB Jake Browning (Bengals) plans to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a one-year deal, per a source on Wednesday, March 11. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: After four games where Browning completed 64.5% of his passes and had a 6:8 touchdown-to-interception ratio, the Bengals acquired veteran Joe Flacco. That was it for Browning's 2025 save for one 14-yard completion in Week 12. Strictly a backup quarterback at this stage of his career, Browning will now presumably hold a clipboard for Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers in 2026. That doesn't make Browning fantasy relevant, so he can be safely ignored.

Cincinnati Bengals QB Jake Browning could be at risk of being benched as head coach Zac Taylor said the team would look at all their personnel on offense.
Huddle Up: For fantasy purposes, 251 passing yards, 31 rushing yards, three TDs and 3 INTs wasn't the worse day, but Browning has struggled. He has thrown six scores and eight picks thus far. There isn't a lot behind him as Brett Rypien, Sean Clifford and Mike White are in the room. Browning remains a two-QB league option only.
